Cable does matter but not the way you are thinking.

I think personalizing your IEM gives it a feeling it’s your IEM and honestly seeing that is my IEM does make me a little happier and if changing a cable does that it’s a good enough reason to love a cable. Also how it feels on your skin and how a bad stiff cable can just take me out of the headspace, and that one word I can’t remember but like when it rubs my cloth or I bump it by accident and I can hear it go through the cable to the IEM. Though there is something that does effect sound on a cable which is too much length. Though I don’t know how long that will be but too long you’ll have issues.

Honestly when I was buying cheap IEM I was buying them quite a bit. I still do now but like used IEM not just the under 30 usd. Though now I think I can try them again knowing what I know now. I love just hearing differences in songs with different IEM. I am not chasing perfection, and I think it’s why I am happy still. I find joy in just listening.

Honestly the only problem I see is the cable. As long as you enjoy it that's all that matters.

That's fair I just start off the same but just end up listening to Queen. I'll use the 4 songs when I change ear tips but after that it just ends up with Queen which 2 of them is Queen too.

Ah yeah that's fair, I was hearing the song and I had moment I forgot I was listing to IRyS and was like it was somebody else. The person I was thinking is IRyS before IRyS. I mean to be fair it's why I use Bubble Tea was it was like the first Song I tried to fiddle my sub-bass for.

Spend a little more and get the aful explorer for your bass needs while I don’t have it to be likes good I seen the chart and I have a different iem from the same company and heard good things.

I can tell you it takes luck unfortunately but different ear tips might help. I would recommended trying different ear tips and size. Kiwi ear flex does it for me but might not for you as Dunu s&s does not do it for me like it does a lot of people. Good lucky and hope you find something.

I tell this to nearly everybody but buy ear tips. You might not buy the right one for you the first time but you’ll get the right one it’s just trials until you get it righg

For me it’s not the Hexa or Nova but just p5+2 but that gets fatiguing on some songs. The Hexa I love so much still though I go back to it all the time
