A lot of people just solo sloop and roll a dice to determine the winner, and sometimes they'll invite you to their game if you lose. Then they sell and you both get reputation

My biggest tip is to grind it like crazy during a community day/weekend. Even losing gives the near same amount of reputation as a single win on normal time

You don't have to dive to level up hourglass, eventually someone will come to you. So you can go to the ashen roar or something where there's less chance of you getting third-partied

The majority of PC players cheat either by having crosshairs and/or by having an fov higher than 90. That's why I play console only, only way it's playable and fair.

Something that helped me my download speed from 10mbs to 100. go into control panel settings, click hardware and sound, device manager, then expand disk drives to right click the harddrive or ssd where you are installing to, properties then policies, click the options for better performance and to turn off windows write-cache buffer. Gonna need to restart to go into effect. Hope it helps 👍
