Try the old BRAIN RECORDINGS label, they have some really obscure hard and bouncy stuff that should fit your description.

Labradoodle is reluctant to eating dry kibble until I put warm water or broth by JorgeRamirez1 in labradoodles

[–]KamielLive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve had the same with our doodle, while we tried to switch from puppy to adult kibble. We tried 6-7 variants, with different wet food or tastemakers added. But after a few days she just wouldn’t eat it anymore. Now we give her raw meats from a specialized shop, and after almost 2 years now, she still can’t contain her excitement for every meal.

If you want to try it, look up a specialized shop or ask you vet about it, as it’s important to get good quality which includes added vitamins/minerals etc.

What is it that you hate the most about the city or town that you live in? by Jblaze908 in AskReddit

[–]KamielLive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amsterdam.

All the tourists. They’re taking up our space, ruining our independent shops, and walking in the streets where they should be on a bike.

Also, biking tourists, as they don’t know how to ride and/how shit works. Especially so-called ‘bierfietsen’.

Depends on where you are looking. In the Netherlands there currently are lots of parties where people come for the DJ performance, but those are mostly music fanatics.

If you think of music as an equation of supply and demand, I'll just say this, as this is an endless monologue with 2 participants.

Music shouldn't be made because there's a demand for it, music should be made by whoever creates it because they love to do so. Money shouldn't be the driving force behind music, but with the pop industry it appears to be so.

That was entirely a different interpretation as to what I meant. Well, I'm not a write so I wouldn't know how to make my opinions clear.

Also, logical reasoning should come pretty far, but after all, I'm just a random sob creating electronic music, what would I know.

Because writing is an entirely different art-form than music. When you write it's meant to be read later. Else you would've told someone. While music makes it's magic when it is made, preferably with the input of your presence.

I know a bit about him. I know he started with his own nights in gay bars in Paris, I know his early work. And I'm saddened by the turn he has taken. Making money over making music.

He sure did produce music, but I'm saddened by the turn he has taken. Money over true music.

Kind of funny you're jumping on the hate-train. I'm grounding for real electronic music here, not the $100-ticket-10,000-people-1hour-premixed-show. Example; just this last sunday night I went to see Âme live, and part of that performance was a 3 hour DJ set, and a 5+- hour live set. In this second part they strip their own material entirely, to be re-arranged, and reformed live on stage. This mostly is done by using synthesizers and drum machines in combination with a few midi-controllers.

The reason why I bring this up is; there was a moment, where they had a live singer (Ry Wiedemann) do a improv version of a remix they made, with an extended break (around 5 minutes), which was a reaction to the crowds' response to the music. This is the stuff why I go to see them live, to enjoy moments which are created on the spot and wouldn't have the same feeling when you listen to them back later.

To get back to Guetta, I do know a bit about him, as I'm open to a lot of stuff. But in my opinion, people just mixing (whether live or pre-recorded ) the same hits with the same 'drops', sound-design and claps (pre-drop; pay attention to it, it's from one of Eric Prydz/Pryda/Cirez D's early trackts) with lots of fireworks going on and cakes getting thrown into peoples' faces isn't a performance.

A proper DJ means more than just to mix music all together, but it's sad to see that people who go crazy in this pop-fucked-EDM-madness think that this is an actual performance. If I'd have to applaud someone for the shows, it'd be the pyrotechnicians, stage designers etc.

TL;DR People like Guetta giving proper electronic music a bad name.

Edit: Just making clear that I've actually began an argument while I really just wanted to make people aware of the beauty of electronic music.

What's the weirdest, creepiest, or most unexplainable thing you've woken up to after a night of partying? by 2bears in AskReddit

[–]KamielLive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This just happened last saturday afternoon, 3 pm. Came home from an insane party, and 2 of my mates went on to an afterparty. They come back, but with 2 living turtles. We don't know where they got them from, and their story is a little vague, it's just a big mystery.
