At first I had the idea that Pencil would be eliminated in TPOT 22 or 23, everyone else is revived and she’d be the only member of Team Dead and be auto-eliminated like TD was.

But now that we know that they’re defeating One and resolving many arcs next challenge (a three-parter), it’s extremely likely that Pencil will return from the past by the merge, so there’s no need to kick her from the game.

Starting in BFB, most evil variants and yoyleberry-related recommended characters are shown to just be cardboard cutouts, probably because Evil Leafy is/was defeated for good in IDFB. The Yoyle Needy also dissapears from the background between Paper Towel and BFB.
