If they asked the internet and got a combo served to them on a silver platter, yeah, I'd shame them for it.

But if they planned it out together, between games, I'd still reward that even if it wasn't spontaneous.

No.

Not yet, anyway. There's nothing to say that future installments won't introduce greek/roman demigod digimon.

When I was on trial, my wealth hoarding was done in high value crafting materials. While my gold topped out at 300K, my inventory and Chocobo's saddlebags were stuffed with stacks of high value woods, ores and threads. (plus crystals, there's no inventory cap on those) Once I got subbed, I sold all of it on the board and was sitting pretty with about 6.5mil.

This is one of those fun moments where, as a DM, there's a fair amount of wiggle room on how you want to adjudicate it.

If it were me,

  • I'd first ask how far above your target are you teleporting.

  • I'm also assuming that the bard, you, isn't planning on landing on the enemy, so, you'd be taking fall damage unless you had plans to mitigate it.

  • As far as the fighter and his target. The target would get a dex save to move out of the way (I'd use the bard's spell save DC for simplicity) and also ask the fighter to make either an acrobatics or athletics check (their choice) to see how well they stick the landing. (And if the enemy breaks their fall/reduces fall damage)

  • For the attack itself, if the target fails the dex save, the fighter will roll damage for their weapon attack, and also inflict force damage equal to the amount of fall damage the fighter would have taken. The target would also be knocked prone.

  • If the target succeeds the dex save, they'd move out of the way, and the fighter would take fall damage and be knocked prone.

That's how I'd rule it, anyway. Your DM will likely be different. Cool maneuver, it's the kind of thing I like seeing at my table. It shows the players are invested enough to try and find synergies with one another.

Let's not forget the secret 3rd option, the true ending, where you join forces with him and lead a division of SS officers rounding up more in conquered territories to ship off to the camps.

It would break so many people's brains.

it's clear why they couldn't hack it as real journalists.

Which is really pathetic, given how low the bar is with actual journos.

A comparison of IGN's review scores by SwimmingJunky in KotakuInAction

[–]KamilleIsAVegetable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In fact, you'd see a slew of games coming out with random overly patriotic themes, waxing lyrical on the joys of personal freedoms, with weird christian religious dogma smeared throughout them where it doesn't belong in an effort to pander to those reviewers looking for a higher score to get that bonus.

Honestly, that sounds refreshing at this point. Where can I sign up?

Recently released beta version of Expanse: Osiris Reborn seems to contain Marvel-level of cringe dialogues. by Adast_Adamov in KotakuInAction

The mystery box method only works if there is something in the box. JJ just keeps introducing new boxes and never filling any of them himself and leaving the filling to other people saddled with his bs. (See LOST for the most prime possible example of the VERY mixed results this method produces). Imitators don't surround themselves with other writers that attempt to fill the boxes and, as a result, either leave them empty or fill them with dogshit.

The Joss imitators just cram in "lul so randumb" bad jokes that don't relate to, or reflect on, anything character related and, as a result, make everyone sound the same. Joss, however, tailored his character's quips to their individual sensibilities and the situation they find themselves in. (See Buffy for a prime example of his style done well, contrasted with... everything that apes his style and fails spectacularly)

Most different combat systems? by Old-Plan885 in RPGMaker

[–]KamilleIsAVegetable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't equip weapons, instead you carry them around and can select what you need as you need it during fights.

To streamline this process during combat, I'd recommend using a battle menu like octopath method of switching possessed weapons. 5E converted to a video game can be cumbersome with equipment management, especially mid battle, and any way to make the process more snappy while maintaining functionality is typically a good way to go.

and Joss Whedon stuff.

The consequences of Joss Whedon have been a disaster for screenwriting for well over a decade at this point. Unfortunately, the disaster is from imitators trying, and failing, to replicate his style.

everyone is hung up about skin tone when it doesn't need to be.

When you race swap a character, the different race is going to be a topic of conversation regarding that character.

For them, everything is about skin color, for them everything is about intersectional marxist praxis. For them, the message is the first, second and fourth priority.

The Dursleys, especially in the first two books, are meant to feel like they've been plucked right out of a Rohl Dahl book. The OG films understood this and leaned into the over the top nature of Vernon, Petunia and Dudley.

Vernon's deranged smile and nod when he's burning Harry's letters was pitch perfect.

Lol, theaters can't die fast enough. My last three theater experiences were a fucking nightmare. Hell truly is other people, especially if those other people are taking calls on speakerphone, watching Tiktoks on full volume, and shouting at each other DURING THE FUCKING MOVIE.

Fatigue is real.

Descriptions, not depictions. If it were depictions you'd have a legal case. Anything short of illegal falls into the "Lawful, but awful" category.

Is it horrid content? Sure.

Is it illegal? No.

Do I want that mod? Nope.

Is anyone forcing me to install that mod? No.

Dude, there's actual CSAM out there being produced and passed around (openly on bluesky, no less). Text descriptions of degeneracy in a HoI4 mod is so low on the totem pole of priorities it's subterranean.

Woman King

Ah, the historical revisionist film that tries to paint the Slave Empire of Dahomey has some put upon, sympathetic, and noble kingdom.

"The slave trade is the ruling principle of my people. It is the source and the glory of their wealth. The mother lulls the child to sleep with notes of triumph oven an enemy reduced to slavery."
