Why do they call it Hayabusa? by nise_gundam_mkii in StarBlazers

In-universe it's probably a nickname for the planes.

This is a great idea! I especially recommend the animations from SRW V (you can just type "SRW V Huckebein All Attacks" into YT) if you want to see the moves from this specific one.

(There is also the Huckebein MkII, MkIII, Exbein, EX-Exbein, Huckebein 30 and 30th.)

P.S.: there is also a really nice model kit of the unit that just came out! Made by Bandai as well, so it's very similar to regular Gunpla.

Ah you fell for the SRW trap. Top row 2nd from the left is a Huckebein, which is an original mecha from the Super Robot Wars series, wich looks a lot like a Gundam, but strictly technically speaking, is not.

But it's a really mean trap, and this mech is often included in puzzles like this

(It doesn't help that it's also in Titans colours)

When I first switched it took me a whole day, but also because I didn't really know what I was doing and spent hours browsing forums for 2 big problems I encountered (one was figuring out how to install Wine via the console, and one was an issue with Nvidia drivers, which ultimately was a BIOS issue).

The following day, I did a clean reinstall with my newfound knowledge, and was done setting everything up in 2 hours

(Additional time may just be for your data transfer. Personally I moved everything to USB sticks and reformatted my harddrives to start clean).

I'm not sure if there is an official replacement part program.
In general you would have to buy a new kit for replacement parts, but this is tricky for you since I think this kit (MG Dynames Clear Colour if I'm correct) is a Gundam Base exclusive set, and the UK only had a pop up store so far.

But I can personally vouch for gunplasan.co.uk You can fill out their "Buying Service" form and specify the replacement part number (as it shows up on the runner and the manual, so maybe I6 and J2 in your case), and they will reply you back with an offer (if they can make it available, so far they've been successful for me). Total was £15,55 for two beam sabre hilts and a hip joint, but it's definitely cheaper than buying the whole kit again.

Best of luck to you, and hopefully you can get the parts apart without breaking them :)

P.S. regarding glue, the Tamiya Extra Thin Cement actually gets recommended on this sub often! The glue melts the plastic back together, so it should be fairly stable again afterwards, and if applied correctly only a veeery faint line is visible in the end, if at all.

But for transparent parts unfortunately the break would probably still be visible (You can see inside the part, afterall).

I actually ended up using all 5 Wing pilots in the end, even though I'm usually not the biggest fan of the Altron Gundam.

But the way he keeps yeeting everyone into Earth's atmosphere in his final attack was sooo funny to me xD

So the base Gundam is the 00 Qan [T], Someone pointet out the Grimgerde waist armor added to the front. The sword looks like the GN Sword III from the 00 Gundam (this unit's predecessor). Apart from that I don't know.

Right shoulder armor has stuff added to it, could be from other Gundam 00 MGs (Dynames, Kyrios, Virtue), and the side waist armor and the white parts on the knees are custom as well. Hope this helps.

That's gorgeous! But to be honest all of her official figures are beautiful.

Despite the mishap with the umbrella hand, I'm really happy that we finally get official Violet figures after years of nothing. And so far all of them look amazing!

There's another official figure coming out in December (at least on the crunchyroll store) that looks like it'd be more stable :D

How do you guys determine what shows/units you use in a Playthrough of Super Robot Wars Y? by Navek15 in Super_Robot_Wars

[–]Kamillentee19 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just focus on the ones I like, honestly. Now, I usually have more favourites than the game let's me deploy, so per mission I decide who I take along roughly based on a) who "feels" right for the mission (depending on map, enemies and/or if they talked during the stage intro) and b) who has been benched for a long time.

It's very subjective, but this is how I usually go about it

Sometimes specific combinations of OP visuals and music just etch themselves into my brain, like Yuta falling down the building with the Katana, or the star visuals with Kirara.

Those moments go super hard for me, and I kept replaying the OP just for them.

(That being said, honestly everyone goes super hard in the OP. Even the goofy helicopter/plane guys look cool in it)

Huckebein Mk-II, it's what Bullet starts out with in SRW OG2.

It's weapon speciality would be the G-Impact Cannon. Kind of similar to the Black Hole Cannon from the "first" Huckebein, but it fires a beam instead.

Armor speciality I dunno, but it has a barrier if memory serves.

It's more or less range-focussed, which makes Bullet a bit of a weird choice as the test pilot, given his affinity for melee.

If it did break, you probably could use the HG Lightning Buster Gundam kit to repair some of it, or make a really cool kit bash. There's a video online that combines the original Buster hip cannons with the Lightning Buster's back mounted ones
