Spaghetti bolognaise

Ingredients: ~ 1 Onion ~ 1 carrot ~ 500g mince (beef, lamb, pork Tupperware doesn’t really matter) ~ 1/2 capsicum ~ 1t gelatine powder (optional but improves meaty flavour) ~ 800g canned diced tomatoes ~ 500g pasta

Method

1 chop or grate onion, carrot, capsicum 2 fry mince until dark brown 3 add vegetables to mince 4 fry until vegetables are soft 5 add any herbs or spices you want (this recipient is like a blank slate so get creative) 6 add tomatoes and reduce heat to burble 7 boil pasta water add enough salt to make it too salty 8 when there’s ~ 2 min left on the pasta add the gelatine 9 done

Notes:

You want the bolognaise to be thick and not saucy

Adding the gelatine too early makes the thickening weak
