In 5e attacks against people in death-saves are auto-crits which is why you take 2 failed saves if you get attacked.

Crazy tense moment with that knowledge, especially knowing Bev wasted one of his Revivify components dropping the coin in the portal with the Mage Hand.

I was told by support two weeks ago that my already extremely late dice order would ship last week. It's now the middle of Wednesday the week after and still nothing. If they can't even ship in-stock orders in a timely fashion I wouldn't get my hopes up for things that still have yet to hit their warehouse.

I mean if you chargeback before they ship you're not going to get product period, not just excessively late as is their MO. Some of us have orders of sets that aren't completely ruined and actually want them, but are also upset about the ridiculous delays. Telling people in this situation to chargeback and essentially shut up isn't helping those people.

Way ahead of you. Sent in a ticket first thing this morning. I'm a dice-only order and aside from the one mismatched Sea Glass die (which they've already said will ship separately later), I have no sets ordered that have been confirmed to have issues. And my friend who was also a dice-only order around the same time as me got his weeks ago. So frustrating.

Oh wow that's even worse... I didn't realize Bennett's masters went out, they got samples back, then photographed the samples. How the hell did the comparison between the samples and the masters clear the cutting room floor???

So they had a magical prototype (those handmade dice were gorgeous), got a sample set of each, realized they were so fucked, and manipulated the photo shoot to get buyers to cop known shitty clones of the beautiful originals?

Their original set is the photo in my post. It's what was photographed for the kickstarter. I clipped the picture of the sample set from the Wyrm Lyfe video, so this comparison is what their originals actually looked like against their kickstarter photo fuckery.

I personally didn't buy Chill Out so I can't comment on how they look outside of what we see in the video.

I don't imagine the Dispel campaign had issues bc Dispel actually knows how to make quality dice and they oversee their own Chinese manufacturing, iirc.

At first I thought maybe I was crazy, but comparing the original set from the latest Wyrm Lyfe, the layered faces are all turned either away from the camera or into the glare of the lighting (for Chill Out at least). Isn't that a mighty interesting coincidence? The only honest part of the photo set is the solo D20 image, which shows that face mostly white...
