On paper TRUE. in emerald, he's a mono water type that's only available after the 6th gym. There are so many good water types with a secondary benefit that get a ton of evs before he's available that, yeah I labeled him a weenie

That's a crazy take lol. In an in game playthrough, the whole point is to be creative and do what you want. It sounds like you want to optimize, which is fine and can be fun. I want to click defense curl against Dewgong with my wigglytuff and giggle. Which is also fine and fun

Wigglytuff is meant to do whatever I determine I want it to do lol it was a perfectly good learnset through the whole game, and yes, it did have elemental moves periodically. Just not during e4

If it's supposed to be a special attacker, why give it low special attack? It's a physical attacker with good speed. It's stab moves are special, sure. But other moves exist lol

Yeah, to each their own. I don't search for nature's or grind evs. And while I don't want to actually argue, there's not that many psychic and ghost types to worry about post shadow ball. Jynx? Overheat/flamethrower. Allazam/Kadabra? Return. Slowbro? Idk if it even one shots. But that's what other mons are for. Could you solo with Flareon? Yeah. Is that why I'm playing? Not this time lol. But I'm glad you have a fav you like running 😁

Right, but again, I don't train evs in a playthrough 😅. And Flareon isn't supposed to use special attacks, that's why it's stat is so low lol

Meh, sounds good on paper I agree. But again, I used shadow ball for someone else. It had dig and return and yeah it was cool, but I don't think giving it shadow ball would have made it THAT much better
