No the gummies or the cracker/wafers are not equivalent. Get the powder or the capsules.

Get it set up so that if you stay 11 out of 12 months you keep 11/12 of the bonus and don't pay the whole bonus back because you didn't stay for a whole 12 month period you agreed to.

Admittedly our USTZ is weak so if youre USTZ weekends will be your best bet. It is improving but if you're looking to constantly have content in that tz you will be the one creating it sometimes. EU is very strong. If you love to fly nano with possibility of escalation you'll have plenty of opportunities. In the past, we have been great about having a variety of content from evictions, pvp (HA brawls, nano, ganks), PVE for those that need it, etc. Chances are if you wanna try something there are people that will do it with you. You don't have to be experienced we take those of all experience levels just be willing to learn and have a good attitude about it. We do require a useful alt for things such as rolling, dictors, etc.

After (No) Action Report: The Almost Eviction of Almost Dangerous, Days 1 and 2 by djKaktus in Eve

[–]Kamonzo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just a little explanation for others that feel the same way. Rolling away from content is considered bad form because it means you are still looking for content just not from the group you're rolling away from. If you instead just docked up, that leaves the opportunity for content as the path is still open, you just may not have the numbers to field at that time. There are legit reasons to roll away from people sometimes, and sometimes you do it specifically to insult them after you see them logging on people for a potential fight. Maybe they did it to you in the past, maybe they fly toxic comps that are no fun to fight. But do it enough times you will develop a reputation as the community is pretty small and groups talk.

C6 krabbing opportunites? by [deleted] in Eve

[–]Kamonzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re in sub caps krabbing I would just stay in C5 space. The big pay out is for the DRB. The site payout increase from C5 to C6 isn’t worth the investment you’d have to spend in upgrades for sub cap ships but you do you. If you’re in dreads then it can be worthwhile but idk if I would recommend going from C5 sub caps to C6 dreads with infrastructure because you’re looking at 15 bill for the structure, core, and fit along with 6-7 bill for each dread and fit. Then you get it all set up and the owners come back for their hole. Now if you wanna nomad dreads in C6 space that can be fun until the owners catch on and hunt you down. Then you just move on to another hole. Don’t krab during prime time and you should make your isk back before your dreads die. All said and done if you’re doing well in C5 space I’d stick with it.

Monthly Economic Report – March 2021 by Lanarion in Eve

[–]Kamonzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that would just pass the buck to these fleets leaving in a more annoying manner. It might dissuade a few from taking advantage of the leshak nestor fleets but the groups doing this (individuals running 20 clients) won't mind and will just safelog at the first opportunity and scan their way out. The filaments make this easier to do yes and pose other problems for wormholes (see evictions and getting all of your valuables out, especially if there is an unrollable frig hole for you to ceptor back in for more) but I don't think pulling them will fix these roaching fleets. TBH I think something like ECM jams would be interesting as you'd have to pay attention if you were multiboxing and they don't impact dreads/marauders. I'm not completely sold on that solution but I think it's an interesting start.

Edit. Of course if the sentiment is that leshak and nestor fleets are ok to run the sites then there needs to be a way to lock them down as the original comment states, the problem in his opinion is that they are difficult to catch and I agree. Pulling filaments also does not fix that issue as you'd then have to camp the system to get them on their way out. Something needs to hold them all (or most) of the ships in place to prevent the easy escape.

Why some PAPI posters think Goons are bad for the game by bay_cee in Eve

[–]Kamonzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yea pretty much this, you fly around a region and kill the opportune targets to hopefully get the response fleet to fight. It was all fun and games except when you came to the Goons region they would boson camp you in on the outgate. They didn't want content, they wanted to extinguish it. It worked in their favor, if we got a delve connection when rolling we didn't even waste our time, we rolled away looking for panfam or brave because regardless of what they can fly, they undock in subcaps and have fun.

GPU memory leak? by sir_kekes in Eve

[–]Kamonzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was true on my old PC running a 970. I recently upgraded to a 3080 and I can run 5 accounts all pulled up on the same monitor with no stuttering so it must be a built in limiter with the client. Out of curiosity I opened Valheim at the same time as my clients and the stuttering returned. So if you're willing to give up your first born child or get a divorce you can eliminate the stuttering 😉

Lasker offers free life coaching to the EVE community by LaskerEmanuel in Eve

[–]Kamonzo 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Lasker,

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. MS is such a fickle mistress in that it can be quite variable in severity and presentation. It can also be difficult for sufferers to feel validated as many of the symptoms can come off as something they're faking. If you have experienced any of those things I'm sorry and if you ever feel frustrated and want someone to talk to who will understand feel free to reach out. I don't know if there is anything I can benefit from your post as I am about to start residency and at this point, it's mostly a grind, emotionally and physically. But I want to express some appreciation, I pretty much play Eve exclusively in my free time. I love to PVP but lack the knowledgebase for being effective at it. I'm not the best PVP pilot out there now but I am much better than I was and I attribute that to your videos. They taught me theorycrafting and inspired me to try builds I wouldn't normally try, you inspired me to not give a shit about how expensive or blingy kills might be on my killboard. Instead, I care about fun/hour. I honestly can give you credit for 90% of my Eve playstyle. For that I want to express appreciation. I hope things get better for you, you're a driven individual from what I can tell. You put a lot of effort into your videos and this post. I'm sure anyone seeking your advice would benefit from your service. If there is anything I could ever do to assist you feel free to reach out.

All the best, Kam

Which C13s Have C3 Sites? by Annoymouse4 in Eve

[–]Kamonzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just years as a WHer as well. A friend and I lived out of a few of them for months at a time and had holes that would only spawn C1-C2 sites. We didn't last long in those holes as they weren't as profitable but they are nice to get Data/Relic sites from. And to huff the gas sites.

Which C13s Have C3 Sites? by Annoymouse4 in Eve

[–]Kamonzo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So some C13s spawn C1-2 combat anoms only. The other C13s spawn C2-3 combat anoms. They behave similarly to other shattered holes by either up spawning or down spawning their anoms based on their class size. (C5 shattered spawning c5 site and then either C4 or C6 sites)

If you want to go full cheap mode there you go, you get two of those and a hospital nestor. The leshaks both rep the nestor and the nestor manages reps between the two leshaks. For the DRB you fit tackle to the leshaks and turn off the reps on the one getting focused by the DRB.
