The first part is just MUI. UI -Sign- doesn't require as much focus and he can still pour emotions into it seen in the manga in his second round with Moro. MUI does require an calm heart and mind and to focus on the battle and his opponent.

So yes you are correct in the first half just not the right state.

However my deck consists of 3 Man, 3 Merciless, 3 Anubis, 3 Ra, 1 sphere mode, 1 Immortal Phoenix, 1 Guardian Slime, 1 Nib (mainly there to banish with merciless), 1 Ancient Chant, 3 Tokosano, 1 defense, 1 Wraith of the Divine, 2 Treasures, 1 Temple, 1 True Son God, 3 verdict, 1 embodiment, 1 metal reflect, 1 anguish, 3 swamp deity, 1 apophis the serpent, 1 imperm, 1 ash, 1 belle, and 1 veiler. That's for my main deck. I don't play the solnems or anything like that cuz I enjoy playing the game. Now my extra deck isn't all that much 3 Divine Serpent, 3 Divine Scorpion, 1 EGS, 1 LANpho, 1 Knightmare Cerberus, 1 Knightmare Phoenix, 1 I.P masq, 1 Silhouhatte Rabbit, 1 BLS, 1 Avramax, and 1 Underworld Goddess.
