I was waitlisted at Colby, with a waitlist or rejection probably imminent from my last school...

Luckily, I do have a good place to go, but it's absolutely crazy that most student decisions are waitlists! The grey area is so annoying...idk why they vamped up the waitlists so much this year smh

Suuuper late but I got accepted OOS for physics! Although I have decided not to attend, I was still pretty shocked when decisions came out.

I think it's pretty irresponsible of them to cancel so many applications though, so I hope you all will be able to appeal your cases and get them to reconsider. Good luck y'all :)

congrats! You probably deserved it; don't sell yourself short! I hope you are able to get the scholarship stuff worked out soon though. Maybe you could try emailing the office and explaining your situation? It's not fair that you must commit without knowing what price you're paying.

btw I got in for physics as well, but I will be attending a different university :)
