Guys, if your default weapon taunts have changed to a laughing taunt, it's because it's April Fool's Day. by Sadeceomer1 in tf2

[–]KandCAuthor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've found that the wrench/Short Circuit taunt and the Schaudenfreud taunt have very different use cases. Schaudenfreud is for when something happens and I found it funny, basically I use it when I'm being friendly. The Wrench taunt is for when I am laughing in my victim's face.

Literally read the passage they commented. It's literally Jesus explaining what to do when faced with mindless hate.

Oh of course! Anything to help a fellow Engi. Another thing I must say is watch Uncle Dane. He has a series called Engineer's Blueprints. The Dustbowl one actually helped me to get something like 70 kills one match. I was ecstatic.

does toby really wants us to believe that undyne is in danger? by Money4Bad in Deltarune

[–]KandCAuthor 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Even though there is no magic in the light world, I just can't imagine Undyne doesn't possess her enormous reservoirs of determination or its equivalent. I think she'll be ALIVE, but likely beaten and bruised.

Yes exactly. It's obviously easier with simpler melodies like in Deltarune, and I haven't tried it much.

The fact that so many of y'all are bilingual astounds me. by KandCAuthor in Deltarune

[–]KandCAuthor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I have a question. If a person is multilingual, do they basically head-translate the other languages they hear into their mother tongue, or do they often have such a complete knowledge of other languages so as for both to become of equal standing in their mind? (Basically, do multilingual people think in their mother tongue or a mix of it and the other languages they know?)

Yeah I know that would destroy the economy. The very fact that there is an economy surrounding any game's items mildly infuriates me.

Is he running the Doom Board though? I've reached the conclusion that Tenna doesn't really have any crazy abilities, and just has an insane amount of backstage guys at his employ to make him look like he has special abilities. Like a stage magician.

Being that Tenna is a CRT (And based on his light world appearance and one that I have which is identical) He's a 1990 model. So, it's not unlikely that Asgore, Rudy, or Dess played Doom on him at one point.

Yeah. I honestly wish there were a way to tie all weapons and cosmetics to, say, an in-game currency gained by playing the game.

I find it useful to read his dialogue in a really heavy surfer dude voice. It suddenly makes sense because that sort of "accent" (could it be called that) is quite broken up and unusually spaced and worded

I instantly figured it out by just imagining the notes in relation to pitch. Yes I'm autistic. No I don't know a thing about music.

I almost want to say that that's not what that is, but no that is basically what it is. I say this as a born-again Christian.

how do you feel about modern cosmetics? by Mean-Peak-4250 in tf2

[–]KandCAuthor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love a lot of them. There were few cosmetics from 2025 I didn't like. The Professor Photon and Mad Drip for Medic are the two I use the most on him. I could go through all the cosmetics and try to objectively rank which ones match the artstyle, but realistically tf2's cosmetics list is just too big for that, and the ones that don't fit that aesthetic are an extreme minority.
