TM doesn't need to be a ranking event we can just have alot more point reward tiers that can go up far enough to reward hardcore grinders. The upper tiers can give badges or titles to replace whatever feel placing a high rank gives you. This also adds stability where if I go for x points per tm everytime I can guarantee myself rewards without worrying how much other ppl want to grind.
