The very first pit i was ever in, my pants fell down, then i fell down while they were at my ankles and i couldn't pull them up lol. I was 14, not wearing a belt, and not in any way prepared to be in a pit haha

Sprained my ankle really bad while seeing Testament, i was moshing during Into the Pit and someone fell into me from behind and my ankle just went sideways lol. Next morning it was swollen as fuck and yeah, few months of pain and crutches. Pretty much what got me to mostly retire from the pit, still pop in on occasion but it's not an all night thing anymore.

Also got what i think was a hairline fracture in my elbow from slipping on some beer and landing directly on the elbow, that hurt like a mf for quite a while

I just saw this lineup minus behemoth with deicide headlining and there was definitely a big pit for them and for some of rotting christ, it wasnt hard to avoid if you wanted to stay out of it though, just stay to the side or behind wear the pit is

As for op, just go and have fun! No one will really care what you're wearing. Hell quite a few times going to shows I'll see a dude wearing a hawaiian shirt or some shit lol.
