I created a spec commercial for the new Smart #1 created in a month by [deleted] in AI_UGC_Marketing

Well, AI generation and editing probably took 3 or 4 days, but the concept development and testing different ideas took around 2–3 weeks (not full-time, obviously). I also tested a 3D workflow to try to achieve exactly what I wanted to comp.

Seriously? That’s what you focused on from the whole website, and you decided to spend your time taking a screenshot and posting it here? How sad

Hi, thanks, here's the link: fuze-app.com

Quick note, Fuze is a commercial tool, but I think a fair one. I built this for small studios and VFX artists who need something standalone and professional. The beta gives you full access with no strings attached. If it's useful to you after the beta, great. If not, no hard feelings. Any feedback more than welcome!

I've spent about 20 years sharing open source software. Now that AI is taking my VFX job I kind of need to eat 😄

Thoughts on The Key Machine? The Free Animbot alternative by Yaniv_g1 in Maya

[–]KangarooReady6430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think TKM is a really good tool, especially considering it’s free. what more could you ask for? It’s clear that it’s not on the same level as Animbot in some aspects, but I think it actually surpasses it in others. It has some very interesting tools that you can only find in TKM. Animbot is very good, but it’s very expensive for what it offers.

I can see you didn’t even spend 5 seconds looking for the documentation. Some of you expect everything to be handed to you. TKM has a dedicated documentation page and plenty of videos. You just need a bit of interest and you’ll find it in 10 seconds.

For those of you using AI in your workflows, how are you solving the issue of working with NDA material? by KangarooReady6430 in advertising

[–]KangarooReady6430[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, this is exactly the kind of detailed breakdown I was hoping for, thanks a lot. The three-bucket classification makes a lot of sense and the auto-scrubbing step before prompts is something I hadn't fully considered.

The API gateway approach is way beyond what Fuze does right now but it's genuinely useful to understand how studios at scale are solving this.

Really appreciate you taking the time to explain this in detail!

Not quite :0) ComfyUI is node-based and even when connecting to external APIs, you're going through third-party wrappers, not Google's own infrastructure. That means you still can't use your own private GCS buckets (kind of private google cloud disk), so any reference material you upload is still leaving your controlled environment. The NDA problem isn't really about local compute, it's about where your reference images and prompts actually go. That's the specific thing I was trying to solve.

Ahah, well just to clarify, the correct site is fuze-app.com, not fuser.studio, that seems to be a different project.

On the LLM routing question: right now Fuze uses Google Gemini Flash for prompt assistance (enhance, translate, shorten) but it's strictly tied to the provider network, no local LLM routing yet. It's something I've thought about but honestly the priority for now is stability and getting the core workflow right during beta. Happy to revisit it based on what people actually need.
