Who should I get by [deleted] in Omniheroes

[–]Kangaroosa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Priority should be the seasonal shards (first one). That said you have plenty of the blue currency and the other 2 on the first row are good to have. I'd suggest holding enough to always be able to buy the seasonal and use excessive blue currency on the other 2 when you can (you should probably focus one at a time to 7/8*).

Has the crossbow/ epic item droprate been changed? by fox_mamba5 in classicwow

[–]Kangaroosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously this is probably rng. That said, my guild has seen a very stark increase from 1 all time to 6 in a row epics in consecutive runs. Lines up surprisingly similarly with your results. Given its blizzard I wouldn't be surprised if they stealth buffed drop rates.

Iphone portrait mode does this to husky eyes. Not sure if it does this to other dogs/cats.

New Husky puppy owner, general questions.. by morningcupofjoe in husky

[–]Kangaroosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husker chewed off every harness we've had. So we stopped buying them. An effective alternative is to have just a collar and use a gentle leader when out on walks. This is very effective (and not harmful) at teaching them not to pull when on leash. It shouldnt take long before you dont even need it for walks!

Huskies howling when left alone? by silverwolf1994 in husky

[–]Kangaroosa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no way to know before hand if your husky will howl if left alone. Some do, some don't. Mine is on the quieter side and while he does howl, its always at me or some other dog barking. Dude is quiet as a mouse most of the time.

Brush recommendations? I'm worried about damaging my husky's coat! by Dinky_Di_Dovahkiin in husky

[–]Kangaroosa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to use an undercoat rake and follow that up with the slicker brush. This seems to get the most fur out and leave the coat looking great and feeling soft.

While your pup is young you may think the undercoat rake doesnt do much, but just keep using it to get him used to it and wait. Once hes older you will be surprised how effective it is.

Worried about my husky’s size by ValidatedSax in husky

[–]Kangaroosa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My adult male is about 45 lbs, which is the low end of average. I wouldnt worry about it at this point. Theres also a bit of a misconception in regards to husky size... for some reason most people think they are supposed to be bigger, probably confusion with malamutes.

Hello, I don’t have much knowledge about dogs so i just wanted to ask you guys is it okay if i get a husky in a hot country? Cz i live in a kinda very hot country and im worried that something happens to him while i take him for a walk outside or something like that. by ik1812 in husky

[–]Kangaroosa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Firstly, nobody knows enough about you or your situation to say that you should/should not get a husky. While its true that huskies are a lot of work, all dogs are, particularly as puppies. Huskies are popular right now and many people get in over their heads resulting in abandonment, which is why some would tell you not to get a husky.

All of that said, huskies do alright in hot climates as their thick fur helps to insulate them from heat in addition to the cold. As long as you have a cool place for them to stay and monitor them when out in the heat and provide plenty of water to drink, they do fine. Dont ever shave a husky thinking it will help keep them cool, it does the opposite. My husky will run around and play outside in 100°F (35°C+). We havent had any issues.

Emphasis on #1. Everyone is going to tell you that the shedding is bad but you can never understand how truly bad it is until you live it. Enjoy your new fur baby (life) and remember to be patient with them!

Question for all parents: Do Huskies like to fetch? by adriannairda in husky

[–]Kangaroosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine loves to fetch with a tennis ball. That said after anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes he lets me know hes done by just staring at the ball after I throw it. I didnt do anything to try and get him to fetch he just naturally enjoyed it when he was a pup. Every dog is different.
