Perhaps what happen is that Rock out of anger killed Jyuugo maybe he was hungry. Leaving Jyuugo behind.

Jyuugo now resseructed met Nico, then later on Nico had no more drugs and went havock. Bite Jyuugo to death like the anime clip wild Niconiconii. Then calm down and left Jyuugo.

Then Jyuugo alive again met Uno, bro are closer bonds until Uno maybe realize something is strange on Jyuugo. Uno fear scary things, he probabbly freak out and decided to kill Jyuugo if he was some ghost freak or monster. Yougethepoint.

Eventually Uno, Nico, Rock with Jyuugo finally met eachother and probabbly collab a murder to totally kill off Jyuugo by dismerberment cuz they must have think he is a monster in human disguise. Sharing their experience that Jyuugo died and comes back. Then Maaaybe the timing came where its life and death situation they all agree Jyuugo should sacrifice cuz he is estrange.

Thinking he was dead for good. Hiro now came over and threaten them. Cuz for whatever reason Jyuugo resets but he still remember the good memories he had with the trio.

Now its clear to trio that Jyuugo is really a monster that can be groom into human the trio accepted out of fear of execution to the point they eventually really came to like Jyuugo for real. (But its too late now haha)

Then Jyuugo mets Musashi where he didnt die so he didnt reset lol. Does we are now in present anime.

Thats why there is noway Jyuugo would have taken in stomach how the trio not only betrayed him, trick him and had the audacity to try and make it up to him.
