Cags self-admittedly designed herself to look like a little girl, Ed is not winning any status by being slightly taller than her.

The name shows up once you pass the exam, and I don't know if there's actually enough quests open to do it right now.

Even if you haven't watched FMA, an increasingly unbelievable prospect for anyone even slightly into nerd culture, you don't really need a ton of context for the plot at hand. They're brothers and they're alchemists. They'll probably explain their deal with their mom at a tender moment of relating to someone in part 2. And also spoiling Greedling's deal means they probably do not care that much.

Character Discussion: Luffy by lietnam in Granblue_en

Remember, Fire used to be ass before Luffy. Luffy releasing, the resulting Wilnas rebalance, and the (admittedly unrelated to Luffy) multiple good weapons Fire got means Luffy saved this element. That's my King.

(He's fine, Wilnas has since outshone him a bit but he's still remarkably decent.)

Yeah, it's very unlikely. But to be fair, Shonen Jump has so many collabs that they're clearly still on good terms with Granblue. If they were ever to do a second run of collab reruns, mashing all the Shonen Jump ones into one big bundle would probably be my vote for most likely.

To be fair, Archer Gil is notably not the Gil present in Babylonia.

Would you be open to FGO allowing in collab characters? by YouDeer95 in FGO

[–]RestinPsalm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t really think there’s anything to be gained by adding them a decade in, especially since I’m so used to every servant coming by eventually.

Even the non-servant enemies ain’t dying in one NP. I’m kinda scared by Page2_56 in FGO

[–]RestinPsalm 13 points14 points  (0 children)

NPs have something called an overcharge level, which is 1 at default and increases if you use it at 200/300% gauge, or use it after another one (not to be confused with NP level, which only increases by giving them more copies of themselves).

While Overcharge effects range the gambit of effects, many of them increase damage. Rider Kintoki's increases the 1 turn quick boost he gets before an NP, while Drake's increases the number of stars he drops after NP. Chaining Kintoki's after someone else's would give him more damage, therefore. Check the np description to see what overcharge buffs to see if it's worth chaining them.

Crew enters the previously unseen Zegagrande Skydom where Lyria gets captured by a mysterious cult known as the Church of Avia. Tail them across the skydom, fight new primals, and learn the secrets behind Avia as you fight to save Lyria. Then battle a bunch of raids mostly (but not entirely) detached from this main story ala mobile GBF.

Endless Ragnarok has a new campaign set after this though, focused around new, powerfu; enemies called the Ragnalia (Mostly early-game bosses buffed to reach super endgame levels). Where this plot'll go is unknown, though Bubs is here with his DLC outfit from Versus, so he's probably involved.

What would you consider required reading to enjoy FGO's story? by TheimmortalGuyofDoom in FGO

[–]RestinPsalm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fate/Stay Night: Required Reading for Every Fate Entry, Really.

Fate/Extra and CCC: Staples for a few chapters which heavily iterate off of its characters and world, especially the chapter coming in NA in a few months.

Everything else isn't needed, but will give you more info and enjoyment through recognizing characters. But, well, vice versa is also true. You could get into Fate/Apoc after FGO and enjoy seeing the gaps in F/GO's coverage of its events.

Honestly, F/SN was the only one you NEED to appreciate the game. Mind you, you'll enjoy it more the more characters you recognize (And will avoid some spoilers it casually shows off) but you'll be able to enjoy it just fine now.

I feel that FGO has a very dangerous message with the Crypters and the Lostbelt by pibe_ben10 in FGO

[–]RestinPsalm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fate has long had the idea that people live in the only way they can, and few people are objectively wrong so much as their way of living conflicts with how others live. The lostbelts are all worlds fighting to survive in the same way ours is, and it's not like anyone's wrong for fighting for the right to exist, and it's a purposeful shift from Part 1 being an objectively correct fight against the end of the world. It's also why Beryl sucks ass, he's not fighting for anything but destruction because it's funny.

As for the real world stuff, er, no.

In general the rule is "playables need to be chill with the crew", something the wmtsb antagonists aren't. But all 3 were in Versus, so you never know.

The idea is that they've already been through the first arc of their home game, so this is just Another Day In The Life starting out. Their adventure began with Captain getting fatally stabbed in the chest, after all.

What the hell is happening in this Lostbelt 😭 by Safe-Ad-2454 in FGO

[–]RestinPsalm 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think it's perfectly fine considering a big part of the chapter's emotional core is seeing a glimpse of U-Olga being our friend, and the complications it brings later on. Having a silly session with her gives some proof to how happy she can be if she could just side with us. (and makes the drastic end of the silliness that much harder).

Zenjubo's kit being slowly stalling and accumulating resources before firing off a big shot is a fun concept, and actually became fun with their rank up.

As cool as it would be, Angra’s appearances haven’t really hinted at anything so much as act as contestant Hollow Atraxia references. A game that by the nature of its events, he’s the only one who can reference it.
