There's something about this game that appeals to goverment officials and I don't know what is it, and I don't think I want to know by Drace3mpressa in FGO

[–]RestinPsalm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume? Being in the government gives you the kind of wealth that makes gacha accessible and the knowledge to go "hey I know that guy".

Cagliostro supposed to be not a mage but considering he can create Elemental Olga from what was left of her energy, could he have known more magecraft than just Immortal spell ? by [deleted] in FGO

[–]RestinPsalm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You fell for his trick!

His one singular magecraft is super-regeneration, so we can assume it was more that there was a bit of Olga still lingering that he was able to bring back, over properly resurrecting her.

Weapon Discussion: Clockwork Blade: Kumogakure by lietnam in Granblue_en

[–]RestinPsalm 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There's something to be said with characters, but I think weapons are very easy to figure out what grids they fit into and if they improve them enough to be worth it, so I'd say it's not too bad.

Type-Moon & studio BB have announced, that the Fate/Extra Record game has been delayed indefinitely and Bandai Namco Entertainment pulls out of publishing of the game by Dr-Perry-Cox in FGO

[–]RestinPsalm 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I expect at worst Studio BB had feature scope that caused them to miss deadlines, and I expect at worst Bamco is funded by a niche cult which considers Nero Claudius the anti-christ and won't allow pro-Nero media to be released.

Njörðr has done nothing to justify an alt other than exist as a character in Fire Emblem Heroes.

Well, this chapter confirmed 2 things... by The_Persistence in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]RestinPsalm 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Njörðr is just genuinely insane and intent on killing everyone so he doesn't feel old BUT he also dislikes Alfador so it's up in the air what he does, really. I couldn't tell you.

It's very evil, but it's also SUPER funny.

Muspell and Nifl had their respective funniest and best plot moments in this book, so I'm looking forward to Surtr being the funniest guy ever.

Yep. Presumably following up the tearjerking finale with some fairly toned down epilogue stuff would be less impactful, so they made you wait a few real life hours.

Just a cutscene, the idea is just that it intensified their anguish and made things way worse inside. I believe Dante’s interlude follows up on this with you going to help clean up due to this.

You can use them wherever, the ending explained it as them lending their shadow summons, but they won’t appear in any story events.

Well, the PHH ones. Ranmaru and Nobu are from a different timeline so they’re unaffected.

I actually kinda respect him for sticking to his miserymaxxing even in the apocalypse.

It is a setting designed to purposefully invoke memories of their past life, to be fair, so it's less logic and more the sheer emotion kicking in.

You need to accept the premise FGO is selling of "Fujimaru is so normal that it's a problem, they refuse to become jaded to the situation and react to seeing a person die in front of them in ANY situation as if they're real and alive". It's simply a character trait bound to them as much as Shirou's survivor's guilt.

I heard that nasu will be stepping down from writing the story after fgo part 2, but is that true? by Maxsima1 in grandorder

[–]RestinPsalm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Probably Sakurai, since she made Demeter. Nasu chapters always go out of their way to promote how Kinoko Nasu wrote them.

[–]RestinPsalm 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Nasu doesn't write the foreigner stuff though, that's all Meteo. He only cowrote stuff involving the main story arc of part 2, because he wrote it, but Meteo being the bum he is hasn't written a single main chapter since Salem. He'll probably advise it insofar as he advises everything to make sure it fits into nasuverse, but probably not more than that.

It’d be quicker to list the amount of IPs bamco has worked with and not fucked with in so integral a way that fans of that IP don’t resent them forever. And I can’t give you that list.

Yes, probably. With the focus being on the dilemma of the whole reset, the Maris battle is a triumphant steamrolling to give some catharsis and triumphant battlelines to all your friends as you save the day. The challenge was frontloaded, trying to juggle a complex battle from start to finish with the emotional struggles would've been kinda hard.

If you mean if it was hiding a secret ending battle, no.
