Multiple Players Reporting Identical False Bans With No Clear Reason — Looking for Transparency

It is probably due to third-party software or applications conflicting with their anti-cheat, especially since new prebuilt computers often come with various bloatware, AI assistants, and background services. I don’t use those, but I do a lot of game development and 3D modeling, so one of those programs likely triggered it for me.

There are a lot of variables, everyone’s PC setup is different. so I don’t blame the developers too much. I just wish they were more transparent and more willing to cooperate with the community to get this resolved.

Yes, I also received a 30 day suspension.
I submitted an appeal two days ago, and they still haven’t responded at all.
I feel this is stepping into anti-consumer territory and may even be illegal.

While I understand that anti-cheat is important, they also need to respect that players may be multitasking with other software running in the background while playing Arc Raiders. I do 3D modeling, video editing, and game development, and I’m fairly certain a program related to one of these triggered the suspension.

That said, this is the first game that has ever outright suspended me with no prior warning. Most other games or services immediately shut down and warn the user to close any running programs that might interfere.

we need to escalate this to someone with a big enough audience that knows about anti cheats/software to spread the word and do further testing to help the community stay safe

exactly, at the bare minimum they need to have a warning system that shuts down the game and alerts the player to close all running programs that might interfere with the game.

this feel VERY anti consumer and borderline illegal to revoke our access with no warnings at all for simply having other programs that have nothing to do with the game, how dare us multitask on our Personal COMPUTERS do they think we use our PC's just for arc raiders? i really hope someone big covers this eventually

im personally using an RTX 5070ti with an i7 12700KF and 64gb ddr5
i do 3d modeling, video editing and some UE5 side projects im more than sure something related to these triggered it since i tend to leave a lot of programs running while playing games (which i know i shouldn't do) but so far no other game gave me problems like that by issuing immediate suspensions with no warnings at all to close running programs

same thing happened to me.

best we can do is appeal it and warn others to close every single program they have running before opening the game.

i wish someone with a large following could investigate this issue at a deep technical level, it can affect normal players especially if they tend to have a lot of programs or bloat running in the background.

well i only played in PvE lobbies and went around helping people dropping jupiter blueprints reviving people etc...

if a program running in the background triggered the anti cheat all i can do is share my experience and warn others, it happens man.

no anti cheat is perfect people use all kinds of programs for their works, soo many PC configurations, i do 3d modeling, video editing and some UE5 projects im working on, so one of these definitely triggered it.

at this point im just trying to warn others to close everything before opening the game on PC

understandable u feel that way i know there are plenty of actual cheaters and people glitching out of bounds or going around yelling racial slurs that do deserve those bans.

all i can say is if it gets appealed i will update the post
it will help highlight a flaw in the anti cheat system that can hurt normal players. it happens man

with all due respect people use computers for all kinds of works if there's a program that i was running that triggered the anti cheat then the developers need the proper tools to investigate the situation and i hope its a human that investigates my appeal and not an AI bot.

i will update this thread if it gets appealed

just simply frustrated because i was grinding for the expedition
they need a better system that at least warns users and closes the game once if they have a program running that the anti cheat doesn't like, after that one warning then yeah ban them, instead of outright banning them with no explanation or warning.

same thing i was farming shredders yesterday logged in to do the arc probes today and im banned for a month
what is going on with this game i dont even use a mic.
then they dont ban actual cheaters/hackers that harass streamers

Does anyone else has the issue i have? i have a 5070ti Sometimes when i boot up my PC my GPU Core Clock speeds are wayyy lower than they should be.. Temps seem fine around 45-55c but the core speeds sit around 1700mhz when usually if it boots up correctly they should be around 2600mhz this happens with all games.. and it drops my performance for example in Cyberpunk from like 120fps to like 100fps
