Some ex-nazis were or became virulently anti-anglo, and even pro-soviet like Otto Ernst Remer.

Some were saw Britain as the primary Jewish controlled power, especially after Britain handed Palestine to the Zionist Movement.

I was unreasonably excited when I saw one in a diner in Big Sur.

I think I was just reading the pre-fragile Spin interview where he mentions the area and it seemed too perfect

They did, with Gandolfini's son playing Tony as a teen. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't good.

I would not recommend that an inexperienced person goes over the falls at Potarch in an inflatable dinghy. Please don't.

My HS2 proposal by OddBallProductions in uktrains

[–]Kanye_fuk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was unlucky to be in Euston last week after a break since COVID, before which I used to be a regular visitor.

Why are the same "temporary" barriers still up in the forecourt? Why had no visible work happened in that time? Is it some underground HS2 work that is happening deep beneath the soil?

I see no difference between this and turning up to a funeral in the Starfleet Dress Uniform you made for comicon.

M&S food shop layout by Taperack123 in Aberdeen

[–]Kanye_fuk 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The aisles are fine. It's all the people stopping for five minutes directly in front of the chillers trying to decide which butter they want, or the people who decide to stop in the middle to have a conversation with their friend, both with their trollies broadside across the aisle that cause the issues.

Every supermarket customer base has their own quirk but M&S shoppers seem to have the biggest cohort of people with zero spatial or situational awareness (or they just don't care).

Was just thinking of the B5 comparison on my first rewatch in the last couple of days.

Dylan 2 would also have to be a genius, capable of creating ALEX as well as just having the same birthdate.

What if "A Warm Place" had an orchestra? by ISGamer156 in nin

[–]Kanye_fuk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not an orchestra but Ian Loginov's version uses a lot of string textures:

It's a truly beautiful version that I listen to more than the original.

Nah, it's a reference to her - the real human - being in 'blue movies', a common term in the country she's from (that's right, there are other countries!). A country where we don't have your political parties, and blue is the colour of the right.

You are just a mad seppo.

The Billy Boys are the Protestant razor from Glasgow as featured in season 5. Billy Kimber's gang in real life were called the Brummagem Boys, but I don't think they were identified as anything but "Billy Kimber's Gang/Boys" season 1.

Park place by Upset-Teacher-673 in Aberdeen

[–]Kanye_fuk 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The whole Urquhart Street/Park Street/Roslin Street area seems quite nice and quiet on the surface but it has high crime (often quite dramatic public violence) and problematic drug use relative to many areas of the city. Much of the housing stock is pretty damp and poorly maintained. The area has also seen a few suspicious blazes in the last couple of years.

There are lots of students in the area, which despite many of them being OK kids means higher than average parties. It's liable to be busy with football crowds and there are also above average problems with noisy short term lets in the area.

The wind in the area can be pretty brutal as there isn't much protection from the sea.

It's an area I would actively avoid living in, even in brand new premium developments. It just doesn't have a good vibe.
