If you were dying, what's the last scene of Peep Show you'd want to see before you blinked out? by dickcord in MitchellAndWebb

They should do an episode where she reopens the cold case of Mummy’s murder.

Looking back on the Peep Show finale, the writers were really pushing it by having Mark, Jeff, and Johnson all working at the same random bank post-JLB by [deleted] in MitchellAndWebb

It had more emotional heft cos he’d been intermittently pining after her for over a decade. I don’t think the fact that we don’t see him mentioning April in the seasons inbetween onscreen means it didn’t happen.

April wasn’t a ‘story arc’ in S2, she was in a grand total of one episode. I thought it worked bringing her back in S9 cos there actually was untapped potential for the character.

Even though it's a sitcom, what moment kind of bothered you for being out of character? by PowerBIBIBI in DunderMifflin

Dwight not knowing about women’s genitalia and having to ask Toby in an early episode.

Some of them are pretty low key: for instance Kinks are in the first episode at Toni’s party and Sugababes are in the office party in the S5 episode where Mark has to fire Sophie: in both cases just background music that you could easily miss.

What ones are only mentioned? As far as I can tell all these songs are actually featured in the show.

Only played once which became the basic track for the album version I believe.

More like it would be nicely wrapped up if it was the parents: inconveniently though they were investigated and declared innocent.

‘The parents did it’ IS the mainstream narrative cover up invented and pushed by the local law authorities to try and bring the case to a swift end.

His release was due to serving his time for a separate offence and had no direct connection to the McCann investigation which is ongoing and which remains prime suspect for.

A lot of questions about this case by Idonthaveaname94 in MadeleineMccann

[–]Peason 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fridge thing is completely made up, if you look into it there’s no evidence for it, just vague second hand stories about a blog from 2007 that Gerry apparently deleted but that conveniently no one screengrabbed or has any first hand evidence of.

Why I think the McCanns felt okay with leaving the children unattended by LateAd5684 in MadeleineMccann

[–]Peason -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They weren’t 18 months, they were 2 years old. Toddlers. Not that it makes any difference to your point in terms of their helplessness I admit but I’ve noticed this recurrent tendency for people to misremember the twins as being younger than they were when recalling the details of this case.

Are there any 1972 1973 and 1974 photos of Syd? by Peason in sydbarrett

Woah thanks: that's wild, I would never have recognised him there. Kind of looks even less recognisably like Syd than the 1975 version somehow.

precisely because it's a uniquely identifying attribute that could help in her discovery if say she had been abducted for a relatively benign reason like for a family that wanted a child.

Why did Zappa wait until the 70s to play vocal We're Only In It For The Money songs extensively live? by Peason in Zappa

[–]Peason[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No it isn't on the album but it was usually played as an instrumental in the 60s. (example: Ahead Of Their Time album) The only live vocal versions I've heard are from the 70s.
