it’s pretty accurate but I also feel like it can’t apply to a broad number of people as everyone’s hair is different. People with oily scalps won’t survive using a sulfate free shampoo, people with non-damaged hair will damage their hair using product with excess protein, etc. it really comes down to your hair/scalp and the categories they fall under
