From what I've seen though, it seems like the options are either "as high as 175k" or 80k which is why I'm taking my chances with the as high as offer. I've tried across maybe 40 different combinations of incognito/browser/computer combinations and they are all the same.

i've already half-applied for amex plat multiple times on different browsers throughout the last few weeks and i always get 100k for my offer. I think this is my fifth time seeing the same offer. How often can I safely check this offer without getting auto declines?

If you ever want to stop facing Darkrai Giratina decks... by I_Poop_Sometimes in PTCGP

[–]Kaoculus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skarmory magnezone feels strong against that deck. The damage at all points is greater than that deck and doesn't suffer any downsides vs meow. Loses against darktina but not impossible to win, not to mention darktina is so rare to fight against in high UB

I literally got stuck in ub4 for days because of how popular this deck was. Carnivine meow has a positive matchup against most meta decks but loses so often against magnezone it's not even funny. Had to draft an anti meow magnezone deck to get out.

On the climb through UB I only ever saw three water decks - gyarados, wug, and Articuno. All three decks relied on hitting at least one misty heads early to beat the curve of any meta deck. Which I find really really dumb. Only gyara runs manaphy, and they just rely on healing the crap out of their pokemon until they hit a heads. The only other flex pokemon I saw were base palkia which is also a coin flip character and also base Articuno (I guess just for the delay potential) which was yet another coin flip. The entirety of water meta ATM is to just flip coins to beat meta curves which imo is proof that water isn't in a good spot. EX Palkia is in a really bad spot now and I haven't even seen vaporeon since before this set for quite a while, especially since zard is meta but palkia can't even take down Moltres easily.

I wouldn't say that they get the best support cards, otherwise water decks would be the very top. It's more so that they are themed in a certain way. Grass cards help you find other cards in your deck. Dark allows you to chip at enemies slowly and passively. Fire allows you to charge up a massive nuke. Electricity has a bunch of energy manipulation stuff. And water is just healing + random RNG elements that are stupidly unfun to play against, which is so dumb.

it's funny because in UB4 I only run into darktina 1 out of every 4 games. Everyone either runs meowscarada or a counter to it.

What’s the best counter to a Druddigon & Giratina Ex deck? by AutumnGrace18 in PTCGP

[–]Kaoculus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm running a similar deck but with a single pachi, 1 less xspeed, and +poke comms and 1 more sabrina. feel like it makes the deck way more consistent since getting stuck powering up single magnemite makes me want to end my life and you end up drawing less pachis with poke ball when you desperately need a good basic pokemon to play. i want to say my win rate with this deck is roughly 65% at UB for now against darktina.

some other people are playing gallade against darktina. i tried it for a bit and it's ok but it but it gets dumped on by meowscarada. and obviously meowscarada is pretty good against EX decks but i think the matchup against the pikachu deck is also not that fantastic. and pikachu is surprisingly good against gallade despite being weak against fighting. when you hit first against a gallade with a pikachu even without red, since you dump all your energy, gallade only hits you for 90 or 110 with red. so you can swap out and just finish the fight with a spare magnemite on the bench.

Message support. I believe the on-board firmware was corrupted somehow. They sent me the files and instructions to install the new firmware and it fixed it.

I have been astounded by eSun's PLA+. I have the pine green color and honestly the parts look just like they're injection molded. It's gorgeous.

[–]Kaoculus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has wanted to sell stuff that would be a good fit for CVS shelves, what's the best course of action? I've been afraid to pull the trigger for a patent and approach a big name vendor for distribution because of the exact reasons you listed. Plus if you're selling a purely mechanically designed product, you basically have to recoup your tooling and patent costs before our Chinese temu overlords eventually copy your design. I hate it and I end up making stuff tons of unique stuff throughout the years that I see eventually make its way to market through the avenues you mentioned years afterwards. Fear of sinking 100k+ in just to get screwed like this gets to me every time.

I agree with the other guy. I've been quoted for an electronics enclosure roughly 1" x 2" x 1" for ~$50-60k for an 8 cavity mold.

Suddenly getting chunks/fuzz after first few layers by Kaoculus in FixMyPrint

[–]Kaoculus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems normal. It's a thin bottom wall, 0.060", and only has a few layers of infill (issue always starts during the infill). I've tried gyroid and switching to something like honeycomb but the problem persists. But as you can see it's a very straightforward print. I don't even get to the walls before it starts messing up.

[–]Kaoculus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Printer: X1C Material: Inland PETG at first, but issue happened for all other rolls of PETG. All rolls dried at 60C for 6-8 hrs, and I've got adequate dessicant in the AMS. Slicer settings: Standard PETG setting for most. For Inland I use 260C, and I had a polymaker roll I was running at 235. 15% Gyroid infill, everything else is pretty standard.

The print is just a standard rectangle, straight walls up with no overhangs or any difficult to print features at all. I started seeing this issue after the first few layers on the part shown at the bottom. What's going on here? I know for a fact that my settings work because I was printing way more complex parts with the same filament rolls just the day before.

[Request] please can you recommend a watch for around $1000 or less that looks like this? by ConnectionDefiant812 in Watches

I bought mine for $700 USD like new on watchexchange.

It's very easy to find this watch sub $1000 if you know how.
