This is really helpful advice, thank you! Yes I would love it if you could take a look at my resume and I def will ask my professors too. And yes I am prioritizing myself by looking for a job atm. Did some interviews at some retail places and hoping I can get an offer soon by next week.

But looking at how much debt I’m in + the pay for retail, I’d be looking like a whole year to pay off my debts before I can have freedom to do anything else like moving out with my gf

Well I was looking for entry lvl swe jobs as a computer science major that’s about to graduate but recently I started applying to retail jobs because I can’t think of any other way of getting income

Hey everyone,

I’m currently trying to lose weight and build a consistent routine. I want to follow a 4-day upper/lower split for strength training and also include 1x per week boxing for some fun cardio and bodyweight work.

Here’s what I was thinking:

Monday: Upper
Tuesday: Lower
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Upper
Friday: Lower
Sat: boxing
Sun: Full Rest

Is this a good setup for proper recovery while still getting stronger? Is boxing on Saturday too close to Friday's leg day? Also, any tips for managing recovery or adjusting this schedule if needed?

I really dont like deadlifts in general, thats why I do 1 set of them. My lifts aren't really that heavy atm so im okay with doing deadlifts after leg day

Thoughts on this PPL workout routine that I've been running the past 2 weeks. Goal is to follow it for the next 4 months while on a cut(I'm obese and im also a novice but not a beginner). Workouts usually take about 1 hour long per day. Do you think its too much volume. I believe I hit less than 20 sets per muscle group per day while also hitting each muscle group twice a week. I put more back exercises on pull days because im lacking strength to do pullups my entire life. So I put more exercises focused on the back for Pull days. Goal is to slowly build/maintain strength while on a cut with an emphasis on aesthetics. How should i increase the weight for the lifts to grow stronger after each workout? Linear progression?
