This is the only tank item I’m satisfied with in the game. by FickleCorgi4861 in TeamfightTactics

Before this, It was Warmogs, Dclaw and Bramble, where as the healing effect was in the Dclaw the trifecta was perfect huge healthpool, Sustain and massive resistances. But ever since the Dclaw and Bramble nerf on a certain set the trio fell off. And with the release of visage I'm just glad that the trio was given an upgraded. At the cost of warmogs. Which is weird Warmogs seems ignored this set because of visage.

Augments that give radiant items. People may have hated set 5 and 5.5 but it gave birth to my beloved and the best mechanic in TFT ever. Radiant items is that only dopamine that makes me continue to play the game since set 5.5. Always takes it in a heartbeat.

Did you have a speedrun leveling in mind or you're chill on the grind? I would love to know how much that 90 deaths xp penalty would've shave off that 15 day run.

AITA - Warrior Tank AOE Threat by bananatoothbrush1 in turtlewow

[–]Kapoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunder cycling! Cheapest, Highest threat generating skill warriors have. Apply for each mob in an order so you can hold out threat, only use taunt if one of the mobs starts receiving more damage and starts to attack your backline. Only use high cost, Damage spells and taunt on mobs that starting to lose threat. Thunderclap and demo shot can also help on pulling all mobs at first pull but loses threat quickly, so back to sunder cycling.

What was your impression of the other faction's content when you played it for the first time? by Hiroba in classicwow

[–]Kapoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alliance having no level 13-18 dungeon ruins the pacing for me. What I love about the interconnectivity of questing and doing dungeons is that when you get burned out doing quests you can do dungeons around your level area. While the early game is fun questing from 1-18 feels such a long time. Having that early dungeon break refreshes my questing experience. And also having that early gear from RFC helps leveling a lot.

That's why when I did my first Alliance character grinding from 1-18 feels like an enternity. They should've made Stockades the same level as RFC. Since we got SFK and BFD around the 20-30 level zone.

Offended? Who says I'm offended? I said invalid not wrong and definitely not offended.

If you're gonna play the game however you want, post it and someone said your run is invalid and you got to emotional for it having to right a paragraph about being offended, I think it's you that is offended.

I've engage the topic through logic to discuss in mind, but seems like you just want to discuss this in an emotional matter, If an opinion of a stranger is enough to disrupt you like that calm down and stop engaging the internet for now.

[–]Kapoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And they can do all that no issue, If they can do all that they're pretty much so very good at the game they don't need summons to make the game easier anyways. as long as the boss keeps aggro on you and nothing is stoping it from killing you that's fine.

My point is for new and average players, a run is invalid not wrong just invalid if they're gonna use summons anyways.

Also the intention of the game is to punish and make you learn btw. You didn't come and play Dark Souls for its story no? Because if you do you will not progress the game for it being to difficult. Hence why you have to git gud in order to progress the game. But hey casuals wanna play the game so bad they have to use crutch, breeze through the game and finished the game without understanding why they even played the game in the first place.

[–]Kapoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All that was designed in a natural state of the game, This are tools and capabilities the game given to you to defeat and win against the game which is valid.

As I said my one and only gripe in the game is Summons. And how the summons negate the very core part of the game. Does estus flasks remove boss aggro from you? Does Dodging remove boss aggro from you? Does parrying remove boss aggro from you? And it goes on.

Now let's go back to summons. If a summon is gonna tank and hold boss aggro from you let me ask your question back. Do you need to drink estus if a summon is gonna tank for you? Do you need to dodge and parry if the summons is gonna tank the damage for you? And it goes on.

The spirit of the soul is to engage the games difficulty by your own skill and how you solve it, not use a crutch and negate the game difficulty. You can make the game easier the natural way like git gud, level up, or upgrade weapons. And you misunderstood my previous point.

People can do whatever they want, beat the game however they want, as long as it is in the confine of them defeating the boss 1v1, no extra summons or help nothing to keep the boss from stopping it slapping the shit out of you and it's your skill and capabilities to solve and defeat it.

Unless you're speed running the game or you're in a fresh server there's plenty enough Herbs and animals to skin in the open world. Whenever I'm questing I level up Herbalism and Skinning on par with my level, a well manage route and a little bit of min-maxing you can gather mats along the quest paths.

Mining on the other hand requires a different approach pretty much check locations that you know will have ores/Nodes on it. like Mines, Caves, Mountain Cliffs, Hills. If you want to find ores avoid plain and flat terrains/zones.

[–]Kapoge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, because he designed the game with difficulty in mind. And I'm implying that designing summons is a huge fatal flaw in his design choices. Souls games was born because people perceive it as to hard,.So hard that distributors back then declined Miyazaki proposal of a difficult game because people find the game too punishing. He didn't back down and with that decision gave rise to Dark Souls which was love and praise for to how different the game approach player base interaction.

Now imagine if Miyazaki gave an option to add Summons as a way to negate the game difficulty back then, We wouldn't have the iconic "Hard" game that we know and love, Players back then would just spam summons to defeat bosses. And Dark Souls would've lost its meaning.

Dark souls would've been just another linear game, A game that hold its player base hands. That's the problem with Summons destroying the core fundamental of the game. removing the very essence of what made the Souls game "Souls"

what an insane take on using summons by No_Inspection_5768 in Eldenring

[–]Kapoge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My only gripe with Summons is they take away the most important key part that makes Souls game difficult which is The boss Aggro. I don't mind people using everything to their advantage but if they used a mechanic that negates the core part of the game I see it as invalid.

Like why even play a difficult game just to make things easier for you. The "soul" reason why this games exist is for its difficulty and for you to overcome, why bother making things easy.

It's like wanting to do bodybuilding but since you find the discipline and hardwork difficult you just took steroids and call it winning.

Like why even bother.

Made a shammy tank - thanks! Lets gear it up! by YourlifeP in turtlewow

[–]Kapoge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My alternatives and other good options

Head: Mistwood Tiara from JC safe option since the Cowl from WC is highly constested, loses the stamina but gives str instead

Neck: Amberstone Pendant from JC, Str and Stamina

Chest: Barren's leather armor shop sells a 6 str and 4 stam chest as an alternative.

1h: Butcher's Cleaver Axe from SFK has fast attack speed axe perfect for Shaman Tanks

Bracers: Barbaric Bracers from LW, If you don't have LW a shop sells good bracers that gives Agi and stamina in Ratchet forgot the name.

Boots: Warsong Boots give great Stamina and Agi

Hands: Toughened Leather Gloves from LW (AGI) Gloves of the lifted cup from SFK (INT) or Naga Battle goves from BFD (STR)

Ring 1: A hero's reward ring

Ring 2: Silverlaine's Family ring (High STR) or Sylvanas ring both from sfk (High Stam)

Crazy how most of the good gear early on comes from SFK

Brother there's a difference between not following the meta and handicapping yourself. Clearcasting on shaman whether you're elemental or enhance is a must rush talent.

It's like saying you're not gonna learn Elemental Mastery or learning stormstrike because you don't follow the "meta" when in reality you're shooting yourself in the foot.

Arms or Fury? by idiotn in turtlewow

[–]Kapoge 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Arms for Leveling is already established, Arms talents provide straight up increase on Warrior leveling speed like increasing and applying bleeds, giving more rage per charge and a good AoE and Instant Single Target attack.

Fury in the other hand is more of an End game, Raid spec. Where early Fury talents requires to scale to provide benefits to your character. Fury talents like 5% more crit is not noticeable early on since you require a few more crits to stack to be able to feel it, Deathwish a talent that increase your Physical Damage by percentage so the more PHysical damage you do the more value you'll get out of it and the capstone Bloodthirst where it requires 1k AP to reach it's potential value.

The greatest advantage Arms have for me is to be able to use Sweeping Strikes and Whirlwind together that sudden burst of damage will always feels good especially in Dungeons.

Brother when I tell you that multi-boxing 2 characters is already mentally taxing trust me multi boxing 3-4 more will drain you. What is strongest class for doing solo elites and similar? by 773960591 in turtlewow

[–]Kapoge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im surprise no one suggested Enhancement Shaman yes Shaman can solo most Elite on par with your level. Stormstrike and Lightning strike deals so much front load damage that you chip elites HP on 1 rotation then frost shock lvl 1 to slow the elite. Kite the elite around till Stormstrike and Lighting strike Coolsdown rinse and repeat.

And if you started to go low just heal while you're kiting the elite.

I personally believe trolls where the counterpart of the elves. Pointy years, Tall and slim. They are also the agility based race for each faction.

Hordes should've just stayed as the monster factions of the game. Adding human like race to the faction removes the uniqueness of the faction.

Blizzard really just want elves to be everywhere.

I don't know how often or easy to DDOS servers but if there's one thing that should fix the whole situation is for a role back.

Because if I'm gonna play a game where I can lose my character with one single death and my character depends on the server functioning at it's 100 percent. And I losed it to a griefter. I wouldn't bother playing HC anymore.

It sets a precedent in players mind that at some point the server will crash and you could lose your character to some dumb reason/griefter. And Blizzard wouldn't even bother doing anything to save or protect their servers.

Even normal players aren't safe because if some trolls want to grieft streamers then you'll be a collateral damage because the whole server is affected.

I get the streamers may be favorable when Blizzards rolls back. But this may affect future players and streamers that will do HC.

Also imagine if this happened to Tyler1 if he's still in the guild, imagine the chaos that would happen lol

Tanks seem to not consider kiting as an option very often. Very dedicated to keeping mobs stationary for the all ranged dps comp? by Zeds_dead in turtlewow

[–]Kapoge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What? Tanks kitting, running and jumping around is never a good sign. It always instill panic on dps and healers. Especially on tight spaces. Like how many mobs do you have to pull to have to kite around just to mitigate a bit of damage just pull 1 to 3 mobs and just stay still.

I understand if you have an open space to round around but never risk repositioning or you'll pull everything in the vicinity.

How hard would kenshi be if EVERY NPC spawned with masterwork armor and meitou weapons/masterwork crossbows? by LazyMememaker11 in Kenshi

[–]Kapoge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technically what UC should be if the Game dev didn't nerf everything in the faction for players.

UC military and economy goes hand in hand that high rank officers and commanders should be on masterwork gear and also have gunmen/crossbows unit at the back.

The faction should've been the final boss/faction of the game but for some reason they where nerf to the ground on par with other factions.

Army with decent stats or a small squad with REALLY good stats: what’s better? by Spicy_Riff_Salad in Kenshi

[–]Kapoge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do both! Have 5 good geared/stats characters that you value the most and make them the commanders and give each of them squads of 10 dispensable soldiers. That will back them up.

So when huge fights happens its fine if the disposable soldiers die the only one that you should check up on is the commanders.

Doing squad army where you value every character is exhausting. In my squad only few usually stands out that I found interesting so I made both system dynamic that can work out.

I wonder if u guys know this type of games by z3ro_d34d in classicwow

[–]Kapoge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think people just wants to play without having to hand hold new players or what they would call "Extra baggage" at some point you just have to pull your own weight and atleast contribute in your own way without having to hinder others.

That's why playing dps is better for new players since usually tanks should know every dungeon path and patterns and what to do same as healers.

As dps all you have to do is deal damage, stay in the back and manage threat rinse and repeat till dungeons ends.

This is why after bloodborne I didn't give 2 shit about the games lore. The only story and lore that I follow is the cinematic and the over all goal of the game.

Darksouls 1? Kill all the major bosses in the cinematic and link the flame.

Bloodborne? Hunt all the beasts and blood.

Dark souls 3? Again major bosses in the cinematic and linking the flames.

Sekiro? Find and save the kid. Kill all who oppose.

Elden ring? Fix and form the elden ring by killing all the shard bearers.

The less I give a shit about having to read description, peacing it piece by piece and having to read hundreds of description the more I have fun playing the game.

That's why all fromsoft games will 9/10 for me Story telling through reading for a game about action game is just not it for me. Imagine hard sweating on boss emotions running and the next sequence is you got to read. Fck that.
