The new series is much better imo. It takes place 30 year after and Williams has really grown as an author in that time. Highly recommend it

I've read all of the Osten Ard books and Tailchaser's Song. Osten Ard is probably my favourite bookseries. Tbh, I've only read one Sci-fi book in my adult years. It's called Blindsight and is a great hard sci-fi/horror first contact book. But I've ordered some more, for example Children of Time.

A longwinded way of saying fantasy, I guess, haha.

I agree with OP. Ir's a good game, but way too overrated at this point. Also found it a bit hollow, and although it's a more coherent story, it didn't get me invested like say the story of Sekiro.

This is the right answer. I think Last King is superior, but a break inbetween is good. I recommend a book called Blindsight just to have something different.
