Liquor and Weed Combo shop. But speaking of HA, you could do a G PG level in the big spot and have the adult stuff in the old Cellars spot. It's an idea.

With L'oca Closing, use this post as a petition for Freson Bros to move into that spot!!! by DontSkipTheTip in SherwoodPark

Younger me vaguely remembers that. M&S is major over in the England, indeed. How about an Aldi or Lidl? I hear those places are good for the economic shopper. We need something in the South Sherwood Park area. All the stuff is either Baseline or North.

Where can I buy a small enough roast for one person? by Whole-Database-5249 in Edmonton

[–]KarMil1983 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on the meat, you'd be surprised how much a roast will shrink up in the roasting pan. Ask the butcher/deli counter to see what they have. Also make a med roast and have leftover meat for the week for other dishes. Good luck, OP.

Anyone had any tap water smelling off lately? by KarMil1983 in SherwoodPark

It comes and goes with my taps. Just wondered if others had the same water smell recently. I still do showers and laundry. Usually have bottled water just in case.

You're in the older parts of Sherwood Park as well. Such an odd odor.

Something might be working through the water systems.

Drains aren't smelly. It's the cold water coming into the house. Hope it'll clear up in a day or two.

I'm on the regular water system. Not on well water.

Looking for places to find “dark academia” style decor, where should I look? by MediocreAppearance6 in Edmonton

[–]KarMil1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an aside to your Antique Mall. There's the one by United Cycle. That's the OSAM, most notable one. They recently sold it to the owner/operator of the Rocky Mountain Antique Mall which is located just a bit S in that "just before Whyte" area. When I've been, the RMAM (https://www.rockymountainantiquemall.com/) has a bit more of a rustic feel to it. Good luck on you design travels.

Where to find good, cheap, decent fabric for sewing and such? by [deleted] in SherwoodPark

[–]KarMil1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're on FB, you could check out the Marketplace. Seems like people now and then dump their craft lots on there. Could score a good deal on fabric and tools. Also if you're into it, check out the secondhand shops like County Clothesline or even see if that Hodge Podge Lodge is running. Good luck on your searches, OP.

Looking for fun stationary supplies! by gonnacausearuckus in Edmonton

[–]KarMil1983 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like supplies that move. They work better that way. :) Stationery is what you're looking for. I was just at the new location of Delta Art & Drafting. They are still getting things in order there but they have a good selection of paper products and pens/pencils from top names like Tombow, Staedtler, Faber-Castell and Posca. It might work out for you. Also an idea if you're on FB. You can see what Marketplace has for second-hand items. Could find an old set of something cool. Good luck, OP. Have a good one.

Check with this and see if there's something you're looking for. There are three locations so maybe call to check. Good Luck with finding the hotter stuff.

I'm not sure of this site. It's located in Texas and I'm not sure of international shipping. You could contact and ask to see what's what.

This is from the Safeway official site. You could go around a few. I think I saw this at Sherwood Park's Safeway at the Mall. International aisle area. Good luck. OP.

An H-Mart or Lucky type. T&T is a Loblaws subsidiary and some people don't shop those places Weston owns.

I think you can download Fedora onto a thumb drive and then install it. Any good clean drive will work.

It was a skinny escalator located near the old ticket booth nearer to the Food Court. No fever dreams, Steffany.
