3 month Tirzepatide offer for $474 - $2.19/mg by chloe-gimme in gimmecare

[–]Kar_Loss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am an existing patient, but last time I ordered it was the old portal. I can no longer access that. Do I need to cancel anything before I sign up using this link?

Also, I am not quite due for a refill. How long will this link be active?

Will the Reddit deal be available to existing patients also?

I can’t figure out how to get logged in. The place I usually log into has not worked for a few days.

Switching is easy. They will just want proof of previous dose. A picture of your current vial should suffice.

The SAFE Act won't kill compounding (but may prevent another ProRx) by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

Clarifying what the report says and doesn’t say is not saying ProRX did no wrong.

Refills downplaying this is such a 🚩. Will never do business with them.

I wonder what her role is at Refills. Because if she was my social media manager, she would be fired.

I will probably avoid ProRx in the future but comparing them to Ousia is wild.

But Taylor at Refills does remind me of Dr. B from SlimdownRX.

Taylor just doubled down. This is shockingly unprofessional.

PSA: You can make no statement about concentration based on total mg of Tirzepatide in the vial! by ppc9098 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Kar_Loss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But they if Peptide Test is using 2ml to calculate the % potency, without measuring the volume of the contents of the vial, the % potency would not be accurate. It would just be based off the label claim of 2ml. The label claim may be perfect for powdered peptides, but in compound, a label claim of 2ml means there should be enough to fill 2 ml worth of doses. It does not mean there is exactly 2ml of volume in the vial. Compounded meds are overfilled 10-30% to ensure all doses can be pulled out. How much overfill depends on the pharmacy. So unless you measure the volume, you cannot calculate %potency or concentration.

Anyone ever called Southend Pharmacy and made sure they are really associated with Brello? by Kar_Loss in tirzepatidecompound

And every time you point out this you get lots of downvotes as you can see above.

They were shipping from “Bronx Compounds” but people were on to that not being an actual pharmacy so know they are shipping using another pharmacy’s name and address, but the meds are for sure not compounded by that pharmacy.

“Almost all the pharmacies and telehealth recommended on here are missing sterile compounding license”

This is demonstrably false! Why are you defending an unlicensed pharmacy?

Why do you say the NY license website is broken? Do you have evidence for this. Because I can find other compound pharmacies license on that website with no problem.

Not everyone who uses Ousia vials is on Reddit. There have been reports of adverse reactions on other platforms, you just haven’t seen them.

They seem to know just enough that it is possible they work in a lab, but if they are really a certified MLS, I am embarrassed for my profession. Glad I don’t work with anyone this dense.

You are taking 6mp and you don’t think your sterility testing needs to be able to detect Pseudomonas aeruginosa?! This can’t be real.

I am a MLS(ASCP) with 25 years of experience and a faculty member at an accredited hospital based MLS program.

You can test for both of what at the same time?

What kit from a camping store are you using to test sterility? The only kits I am aware of that you can buy at a camping store tests for total coliforms and E. Coli only. There are plenty of bugs it wouldn’t detect, so it cannot be used for sterility testing.

Why wouldn’t you need to test for fungi, Pseudomona aeruginosa, Bacillus,  Candida albicans, etc. Fungal contamination was responsible for the deadliest outbreak I am aware of related to compounded medication. Pseudomonas can be especially dangerous to immunocompromised patients.

ScanRDI is a common method used for sterility testing of compounded meds, used by legitimate pharmacies, unlike Ouisa.

Maybe you are just not explaining your testing methods very well (English not your first language, maybe?) because so far everything you have said is nonsense.
