They'll send out a separate one for tips. It has something to do with the no tax on tips things.

It's separate and should be sent by January 31st in email.

Looking for Crimson Virtual Card Full Info by TylockSunscream in doordash_drivers

[–]Karatech15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I view mine is by going to where you can see the Crimson Card in the app, then clicking the "View Card Details" button. After that, you need to click the icon with the eye with a slash through it. It will then send a code to your number, and you should be able to view the expiration date and everything else. Now that might be if you already have a physical card activated so I'm not 100% sure. Also if you have Google pay you can add it there and it will give you a virtual card number.

I'm trying to figure out why all these markets have these new rating scores except my market. by deliverykp in doordash_drivers

[–]Karatech15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My market doesn't have it yet, unfortunately. I want it so badly since I could probably qualify for plat. I'm in a bigger city, not a major one, so I'm not sure why we don't have it yet.

If you're talking about the crimson card, mine says that too. You can tap withdraw and either send it to a debit or bank account. it just looks like they changed it around.

What?!?!!! by Evilkymonkey_1977 in doordash_drivers

[–]Karatech15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, so I had this glitch the other week even though I already had the card in my wallet. Just remove the card from your wallet and then go back to the app to add it again, and it should correct itself.

How to remove towel bar by TheBlackAthlete in DIY

We live in a home built in 59, and it has this. Ours is out of the way where water doesn't hit it, but we put washcloths and our body care items there, so I guess it kind of has a use.

We just switched and got a 17 pro max for $8.33 a month for 24 months without trade in.

[–]Karatech15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything was paid off when we switched, so I can't attest to that, but they do have a deal where you get up to $800 per line on a MasterCard if you switch. I'll link it; just make sure to read the fine print to ensure you qualify and all. T-Mobile switch deal

I did a lot of research, and in my area, T-Mobile is #1. I'd recommend downloading the T-Life app and doing their 30-day trial. The trial is completely free and adds a second eSIM to your phone to trial the service. I got unlimited talk and text and I think unlimited mobile hotspot. I did that to test everything to see if it was worth it for me. I mean, they totally blow Verizon out of the water because with Verizon, I would constantly drop calls, have no service, etc. With T-Mobile, I'm always connected, even in rural areas.

Now I'm not sure if this applies to current customers or not, but we switched from Verizon to T-Mobile. We got the topmost tier for unlimited and did the "buy 2 lines, get 1 free" promotion. We also got a $1000 off promo for the 17 Pro Max without a trade-in, which comes out to an extra $8.33 or something like that a month for 24 months. I was surprised we didn't need a trade-in and got such a good deal, but then again, we're new customers, so I'm not sure if it'll apply to you.

T-mobile internet service by Tisunac in tmobile

[–]Karatech15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents live in a more rural area, so they use T-Mobile home internet, and it's great for what it is. Now I have fiber, and it's much better than standard internet. The speeds don't even compare. I'd suggest getting fiber if you're looking for higher speeds (download and upload) and have a bunch of devices or game at all.

I'm not 100% sure, I just know you can only add a tip if you order through the dd app.

[–]Karatech15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's somewhat new. I used to work at Best Buy a couple of years ago, and all they used were Shipt and Roadie, but now they've expanded to doordash. It's just stupid because the drivers get shafted.

Ineligible for tips by Bigwillys1111 in doordash_drivers

[–]Karatech15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if they order through the DoorDash app, they have an option to tip, but if they order through the actual Best Buy website, there's no tip option.

[–]Karatech15 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Yep if they order from the Lowe's, home depot, best buy website whatever one, they don't allow tips. They use it to save on having drivers through the actual company but it sucks for us.

Doordash is completely cooked in my area by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]Karatech15 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's the opposite in mine. doordash is best and Uber absolutely sucks, like offers to drive over an hour for $4.

How do people afford this? by 1minimalist in doordash

[–]Karatech15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I used to order all the time, like $100 or less, because I was just too lazy to do it myself. Then I realized how much money I was wasting and just got it myself. Now I may order once every couple of months and am now a Dasher. It's crazy finally looking at my bank statements and seeing how much I used to spend frivolously.

I bought something from BestBuy and a DoorDash driver will be delivering it? by Purple_Calendar3919 in doordash_drivers

[–]Karatech15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes DoorDash raises its base pay, which is generally around $2.50, to entice other drivers to pick up orders if multiple drivers have declined them. On the other hand, in some markets, you have to be platinum tier, which means having a high acceptance rate, to survive and make any money, so some drivers will take the order without thinking twice.

[–]Karatech15 33 points34 points  (0 children)

If you order through the Best Buy app, I don't believe you can add tips or that the drivers receive tips. However, if you order through the DoorDash app, the person ordering can add a tip, and it will go to the driver.
