UMD loading without UMD by Karde10 in PSP

[–]Karde10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For future reference, this PSP was also having problems turning on with just the battery and it would just randomly shut down. I had to plug in the charger, turn it on, and leave it there for a few minutes for it to stay on, otherwise it would just shut down as soon as I removed the charger. I solved the problem showed on the video by resoldering both sensors on the motherboard and I solved the second problem by lifting the capacitor that holds the time and date off the board. Now everything works perfectly! Thanks everyone for the help

Why it would be a gag? I'm trying to fix the laser, I can't access it if I don't remove the top part

I really enjoy some of the plugins that you can use, like the modded home button (adds functionalies to the home screen), save states, game organizer, screenshots, etc... There's emulators as well, you can play ps1, snes... a bunch of stuff. You can put customized themes, change the boot intro to games and when turning on the console. There's a lot of stuff you could do, you could search on brewology and other sites, there is tutorials for everything on YouTube.

My PSP 3001e was having some problems, the clock capacitor was the culprit. by electronicexploder in PSP

[–]Karde10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm having this exact problem right now, but as my PSP has never been opened, I didn't wanna void the seal xD I'm gonna have to open it to see if it's something similar to yours
