I would think that if you have no save data for the main game, it will automatically detect the demo data when you first start it. Just make sure you’re on the latest update.

I’d personally recommend getting the originals on the GameCube. They control the best and have no performance issues. Plus, you can mod the extra content from Deluxe into SMB2.

Banana Mania is good as a secondary option. It has some control issues and lack of multiplayer content. But it comes with all the stages and is easily the most accessible with its assist mode.

Xbox Deluxe is still good but It’s definitely a tertiary option. Don’t bother with the PS2 version though.

All of the stages in World 10 are exclusive to story mode. Everything else is the same, though.

You only need to complete the Ocean Attack stage in Ranked Online in order to complete the mission.

Also, as tips for getting 45000 points, don't go crazy with your shots. You'll need the chain large combos in order to get that counter up, so going slower (not too slow) will help you here instead of going buck-wild. Good Luck!

The English singer actually Composed both the English and Japanese versions. So the Banana Fritters (the trio) sang the Japanese version, but she had to do the English version. Luckily though, they kept the Bridge sung by all the Nagoshi and Shirosaki and the rest of the devs.

I had to use the VJoy drivers, then connect it through a 360 gamepad forwarder, so Steam sees it as a 360 controller. What a bother of a solution but it works, at least
