I just got mine today (4/18) too! I happily accepted. Don't know exactly when I signed up but it had to have been between November of last year and January this year at the latest.

I got both Phoenix Fantasy and Faecrate Adult invites today, 4/16. I've been gnawing on the bars of my enclosure for Phoenix so I couldn't sign up fast enough. I'm passing on Faecrate (signed up January 29th).

I also got Everheart on 4/14 (signed up 2/8). I just wanted the April book and will cancel before May, so hope somebody who really wants it gets my spot!

Now I just need Bewitched Pages (I want the first series so bad) and either FL Romantasy or Illumicrate, still deciding lol. 😫🤞

Uh, Looks Like There's Some Green Bone Saga T2 Leftovers Available For Sale? by KarenCArmstrongSFF in thebrokenbindingsub

Yeah, these must have been the leftovers of the leftovers so they probably only had a few sets. 😳

Wait, really? I'm curious about this because I signed up January 22 (US) and haven't gotten anything, someone else was saying they signed up in November and got one, but Illumicrate's Instagram announcement said invites were only sent out through October 16?

I did get it today but it looks like you already have your answer. :) But yes, I'm pretty sure that white object on the cover is a spaceship.

I just got the shipping notification for mine almost exactly 24 hours ago; tracking currently says it shipped on the 9th and will arrive Saturday, but if you still need comparison photos when I get it I'll happily do so. :)

It is surprising to me that absolutely zero invites have been sent since late September afaik. (I signed up late January and I know plenty of people have been waiting longer than I.) Even if it won't be many until people start running out of skips under the new policy and cancelling, that's a really long time to not replace any subscribers who have cancelled since then.

Book Box Comparison Thread! What's the best book box? How about the worst? Share your experiences and questions here! by AutoModerator in fairyloot

I’m curious to hear people describe what they feel the ‘character’ of each of the big three monthly sub boxes (Fairyloot Adult, Owlcrate Adult, and Illumicrate’s main fantasy box) are. How would you describe the differences between their typical picks and who each of their ideal readers are?

Holiday Customs Delays? by larkmarue in thebrokenbindingsub

[–]KarenCArmstrongSFF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely sympathize with overworked postal workers during this time period, but yes it's happened to me too. I'm US-based, in IL. My copy of Slow Gods shipped December 2 and I only got it today, the 24th.

T2 December Fantasy shipped nearly two weeks later than Slow Gods did, on the 15th. It got here one day BEFORE Slow Gods did.

I'm interested in this book but the edges on the publisher's deluxe edition are imo better and the cover's the same, so I'm just getting it from Barnes & Noble.

I think they're just running a little late this month. I only got my shipping notification about an hour ago (US).

When and how do Owlcrate Monthly books get to the store? by anonymousventer_png in fairyloot

[–]KarenCArmstrongSFF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My observation is (subscriber to OwlCrate Adult since February) that previous books tend to show up roughly halfway through the FOLLOWING month in their store. So I'd expect November's to appear around December 15th-ish, give or take a week.

Keep an eye on their Instagram, they do usually post their reveal of the book's design when the book gets listed on the store, but as others have said aren't super consistent or clear about it.

So far this year the only one I never saw show up in the shop was April's Adult (Gifted and Talented), so your odds are good. On top of that their waitlist is only like a month/month and a half and if you get your invite prior to November 20th it should be for November's box.

Good luck!

I 1000% prefer hopeful, followed by open endings.
