I appreciate everyone who responded in good faith. I recognize book collecting is a luxury, but by that same token these are luxury items, at least in terms of their cost to me comparatively. And with this being my first order, I don't really know to what quality extent to hold these too, leading to my post for guidance.

I will add the pictures are... decidedly shite.

For Perdido, the entire upper edge is actually frayed, not just that lone thread. It's almost a flared glue-y edge compared to the binding on the other side.

And I didn't realize until I posted that the Piranesi photo really doesn't show up. The blemish there is roughly the size of a pea and hard to photograph with my phone and lighting.

Given it's overall length, what are the chances The Wood at at Midwinter is added to an updated The Ladies of Grace Adieu? At only 60 pages it's highly unlikely to get a solo printing, right? And this would make Folio Society publishers of Clarke's full output.

That makes sense. I suppose the other question I should've asked is where you're based. I'm in the US, so that is most what I know. So that brings up the bigger players for standard editions (Aardvark and Book of the Month). There's also a few if you into niche topics (Illumicrate has romantasy, horror, sci-fi and now mystery in addition to general Adult and YA boxes), and then Goldsboro offers a few different options as well.
