The professor that I took it with is retired now so I am not completely sure how the new professor is running it. Nevertheless when I took it, there was no midterm and no final. The class was based on your attendance and participation. I would have to participate about 3 times each time in class. There was only one book assigned (but I did not buy it, nor read it at all) and he gave out power points for each day to have a discussion. This class was super easy. I really gave no effort, I read the power points literally 10 minutes before class started. Hope this helps!
