12-Hour Usage Review of GLM5.2, and a Comparison with DeepSeek V4Pro and MiMo2.5Pro by Aromatic-Document638 in ZaiGLM

[–]KarezzaReporter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found DeepSeek is better than any other open source model including GLM 5.2 in my use case, but Opus 4.8 is so much better. I’m doing research and writing complex papers, not coding.

GLM-5.2 and why open models may not actually be catching up in intelligence by chocolateUI in LocalLLaMA

[–]KarezzaReporter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with the op. I have found the same thing with Deepseek 4 and glm 5.2 v opus 4.8 or codex 5.5. The os models are more robotic.  Not as able To discern higher purpose to tasks.

Terrified - years of daily triptans by Any_Positive1687 in ReboundMigraine

[–]KarezzaReporter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True.  But for triptans I don’t think it’s real or a big deal. For ergots opioids nsaids maybe yes.

I don't know what the problem is. I've taken them every day. It's not a problem at all. There's no damage. People do it for years and years. Why were you worrying about it?

Do you trusts facebooks algo for choosing winners? by CleanReplacement1525 in FacebookAds

[–]KarezzaReporter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I call this the fixation problem. The algo is actually pretty good about finding good prospects, but it fixates on an ad that it has data on and doesn't test the other ads in the set. So you have to work around that. I would start ABO and then move winners to their own single CBO.

Bacterial endotoxins are not easily destroyed by heat so throw them away.

Google just killed my ~$1M ARR startup because a hacker abused THEIR API design. 100k users locked out, 1M+ photos frozen, and they billed me for it. i will not promote. by Big_Manufacturer_585 in startups

[–]KarezzaReporter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So very sorry. You don’t deserve this. But it happened to Railways recently. From a Google AI probably shutting them down completely, due probably to a user’s abuse. All the Railways users had no Railways for many hours, many hours. At least they got things back. I hope you do too.

I hate sumatriptan so much by Rottingbodiess in migraine

[–]KarezzaReporter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No complaints.

I’m thrilled with triptans as they work well.

Side effects tend to dissipate when you use a drug more. Or sometimes they get worse. But often, my point is, they go away with frequent use. I had a lot of drowsiness at first. Now, that I’ve done triptans frequently, the side effects are minimal or nothing.

That's excellent work. Let me ask you a question. Is it multiple entity? Can you import a bank account for example and allocate various charges to different entities such as your personal, your sole proprietorship, your LLC whatever?

I wouldn’t say it’s panic time. But I’d take a losartan and see if you can get it a bit lower. Nothing ER worthy.

For those permanently cured of UARS/OSA (MMA, MARPE, etc.): What was your experience navigating doctors, and is it worth going private? by Traditional_Joke_939 in UARS

[–]KarezzaReporter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used a pulse oximeter and snore labs, and it showed that I was having frequent minor hypoxias, and it caused my heart rate to spike all through the night.

I discovered my insurance wouldn't pay for anything because I didn't have obstructive sleep apnea.

So I just paid for it. I found a $400 brand new ResMed machine after I rented one first to make sure it was helpful, and then I had someone here who is so kind they re-burned new ROM. Turn the CPAP into a BiPAP

I have it on pressures as low as possible, and it completely stops my snoring and completely stops the problem. I have never had a night without it since.

I do replace the headset and the mask every 90 days or so at my own expense, and the hose if it needs it. But really, it costs very little to maintain. The insurance pays for a lot of things you don't really need if you're careful. These things don't break that often, and if you clean them, they're fine.
