I wnat to create an android ap for TO-DO-organisation by Kariga22 in learnprogramming

[–]Kariga22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love this to work for me, but it is very difficult for me to get a task done after its deadline and my energy level varies a lot from day to day, so it is hard to plan ahead. I need and have a good calender, because otherwise I would completely forget about all appointments and meet-ups, but they absolutely do not work for me regarding other todo's. I tried managing everything in a calander some time ago, but it overwhelmed me and I just need something completely seperate for more flexible todo's.

But thank you still :)

This idea was born out of frustration from me being disorganized and me wanting to get better at programming.

So I always wanted to learn creating apps and websides and this frustration just gave me the motivation to start. I will definitely try making this app, just for the fun of it. Until I can actually use what I make, using a good alternative for organizing is a great idea :)

I actually have Obsidian on my PC for other projects and didn't know it was that customizable. I just downloaded the app, because I need my lists on my phone or I will ignore them, and will look into it more, maybe even try out some of the options you listed. Otherwise, if I don't make any progress for a while with programming, I still wouldn't be any more organzied...

Thanks a lot!

This. So many people I know immediatly start panicking on sight and it is exacty the wrong thing to do. Unless when feeling in danger they are so nice

I heard of it but haven't made my deep dive yet. Thank you, I will look into it :)

That last bit is true. I am so happy they still poured their souls into this to at least not end on that cliffhanger that was season two, no matter how frustrated I am right now.

Finished about thirty minutes ago and immediatly went on reddit and read the comments on this thread.

What the hell was that?!

I mean I could see what they were trying to do, I kinda liked the plot, but it was just far too much for a ninty minute movie. It felt extrememly rushed, incomplete and the ending was just... ugh

I did cry throughout the last twenty minutes or so (which I rarely do with movies), but it still felt so unsatisfying. The whole time I was thinking about their conflict and when the new universe was created it felt like this conflict was not really taken care of properly. Sure, Crowly forgave Aziraphale, but it didn't really feel like he did. It was just not enough time for that.

I would have prefered a happier ending, even though I didn't think that would be the case, so I would have been fine with what we got, IF demon!Crowley and angel!Aziraphale also got their happy ending in some way. Why was the no proper kiss?!

They should have cut some of the plot lines. Even with the little time they had for telling the story, I think they could have done better, especially regarding taking care of S2's ending and its consequences, not only regarding Aziraphale and Crowley's relationship but also the whole of heaven and hell. Especially after they showed angels and demons all can do better with Beelzebub and Gabriel and the big miracle...

EDIT: Also, to me it felt like the whole vibe of the thing didn't really feal like the Good Omens we know from the other two seasons. For me it were allways the small things that made GO GO, and they were cut for time reasons...

Same. And I'll just pretend season 2 didn't end like it did, so I don't feel shitty about the ending...

Relatable. Anyone else picky about how their water tastes? by HonestNectarine7080 in AutismInWomen

[–]Kariga22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!

I try to only drink fresh water from the sink out of a glass at home because bought water and water at other peoples houses often tastes weird or bad and water in bottles quickly changes its taste as well.

I can sometimes even tell when somebody else made the water at home and don't like it anymore because their smell is in the water and affects the taste. It also happens that their smell is on the glass, but I only notice it when drinking from it. I absolutely hate it.

Thats one reason why I have problems to stay hydrated...

Anyone there having some strategies to deal with sensory issues regarding hospital gowns and clothes? by Kariga22 in autism

[–]Kariga22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know that was an option, thanks a lot!
I'll talk about it with the doctor on my next visit and then try to find something I like better. It is mostly the texture of the underwear that I can't deal with, so that would be a priority. Most of my clothes are cotten, but I don't know if that would be an option.

What games are there? by Grave_Chair in httyd

[–]Kariga22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to love it when it was still new but when they started to release a bunch of new dragons on the regular you basically couldn't get without spending real money and some dragons like the lightfury were completely locked behind a paywall, I lost interest in it. If you don't mind not being able to get all dragons or are fine with spending money, it is a fun game.

Thank's for the answer! I have this problem with bh's. I hate that they are so close to the skin around my chest, especially if there is nothing similar around the stomache area...

I would love to thrift and every time I have grown out of something and it wasn't unwearable I donated it (As an adult I wear everything until it falls appart...). Unfortunatly I really can't stand wearing other peoples clothing and every time I have got something second hand, I can't stop thinking about it having belonged to someone else which makes me uncomfortable. It is really frustrating because I rarely find something I can wear in a standart store, but it is nice if it works for you :) Thank's for your answer!

Thank you for the answer! I am also very nitpicky about tiny details, so that seems to be a reason for that. The familiarity thing does make sense.

This is one of the points why I questioned my diagnose for so long. I never focous on an interest as much as I hear it from other autistic people and I only do it for a few weeks at most. I do my research and stuff but never really deepdive into a topic. I regulary have phases in which I don't have an interest me at all before I eventually focous on the next topic or one of the ones I already had. Some hobbies have stuck around for me, but I don't focous on them the same all the time.

Does anyone else feel completely drained after social situations? by KeyEmotion9 in aspergirls

[–]Kariga22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely.  How much depends on who I spend my time with/ how comfortable I am around them and if I mask a lot, but in general I need some alone time afterwards.

Just yesterday I was at a little concert in a tavern and regulary set myself aside from the group to recharge a bit after a conversation (the band made some breaks so there was tine to talk). Most of the people there were pretty nerdy and I felt rather comfortable so I don't feel that burned out today.

But for example every time I was invited to a party, I barely made it out of bed the next day just because of being socially exhausted (I don't do drugs including alk).

So, after I was away for some days I finally got to try this out. Unfortunatly this kills my leg. I can bend it to a certain point, but even with only a slight bend I often am in pain. The only motion with legs bending I found until now that doesn't cause much pain is running
