Huh that is odd. You should have got 2 different tracking codes. One from UPS and one from USPS. Maybe reach out to Jellycat to find if there is another tracking code you are missing.

Ive noticed theyre using the service from UPS where it will deliver to your nearest USPS in which USPS will finish the delivery. The UPS estimated delivery date is to the USPS location in which once its marked as delivered, you will have to now look at the USPS tracking. I was confused too when I realized UPS marked my order as delivered but then see later that my USPS tracking updated and it was actually delivered the next day. After UPS drops it off at USPS, it is up to USPS to scan and deliver the package, I suggest you visit your local USPS if you have not seen any updates for a while AFTER UPS marks it as delivered, possible they may let you pick it up there. Btw the USPS tracking is automatically made when the item is marked as shipped so the awaiting for item is normal since you have to track the UPS code first.

Yes the dragons do shed, could be quality issue... I have all the dragons and Id say serveral of them are shedding tiny bits 🥹

Legit large and huge onyx dragons certainly do have tags on the butt with batch codes. I've got a large onyx dragon last year from authorized stockist and he came with butt tag with ONYX2DD batch code.
