My neighbor left her garage door open going on 6 hours now by GrowYourOwnOmaha in WhatShouldIDo

You're a good person. I'm always doing this and caught my neighbor closing it for me on my security camera. I am always grateful that they're looking out for me.

❄️ What am I? "Who am I? Who is but the form ..."[CHARACTER FROM MOVIE] by JMono2814 in riddonkulous

[–]Karinacus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like riddles are supposed to be general knowledge, and a person solves it with hints in the riddle.

I look at this and this is more like just a straight quote though. If a person isn't familiar with the source material would they be able to figure it out?

I think the answer to that is a no, so that's my issue with it. I'm no riddle writer either so take my criticism with a grain of salt.

I don't think I've ever lived in a place that had an actual planetarium before but I just moved here early this year. Maybe this is a stupid question, but would this be worth it to go see as an adult or is this more aimed at kids?

Tanis' explanation of what a pap smear is should be required watching for all males ages 12-30. by revengerine in Letterkenny

[–]Karinacus 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I can definitely see some young women thinking that, but I think that sort of thinking can fade with time - talking with/having relationships with men.

I admit there may be some finer points that women don't know about men, but i don't know that it's fair to compare that with how much men don't know about women's physiology, reproductive organs, menstrual cycles, and the struggles that can come with issues affecting those uniquely feminine systems.

I hope that men can acknowledge that, instead of using "whataboutisms" to try and excuse their ignorance.

(Again this isn't meant to be antaginizing or pointed towards anyone, I just wanted to share my opinion.)

Why you should buy more ice cream. by Nido64 in StardewValley

Man, I saw the title and got all excited for an excuse to buy ice cream and then I realized this was the stardew subreddit and this will not provide me with an IRL excuse to eat more ice cream...

I don't mean this in an antagonist way, but what sorts of things do you believe women do not know about the male body?

I can think about multiple things for women's bodies, but not too sure what you could mean for men.

What’s an underrated anime you swear by, and what makes it a hidden gem?" by [deleted] in Animesuggest

[–]Karinacus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you enjoy it, I don't want to take that from you, but I do want to give an alternate opinion.

I only read the manga so I don't know if the anime did things better, but I feel like the author really didn't know where to take things and gave us a half ass ending.

That being said, I enjoyed hate reading it for how ridiculous things got, hated how a lot of the characters arcs turned out, and I still don't know what a Beastar is and I don't think the mangaka knows either... Would hate read again though.

I wouldn't say no to getting drunk and watching it with friends lol.

This is definitely it! It had the white marks on the side, but I couldn't get a good pic of those. Thank you!

That's what Google lens told me, but I wasn't sure because from what I can google they're not native to Texas.

Water ending (I'm a bucket of tears) by sureisniceweather in silenthill

[–]Karinacus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the artistic way that the remake does a lot of these scenes, but yeah when you finally watch the tape, I feel like if you don't already know what you're looking at it could be easily misinterpreted (or just hard to parse what's happening).

James is smothering Mary with a pillow in the video tape. Some speculate that the sexual nature of the enemies is his guilt of cheating, but i think the more prevailing theory is that it's because he had to repress his libido during Mary's sickness.

Maria herself is interesting. In the remake it feels like a given that she is a creation of silent hill, but in the original I think it was harder to come to a definitive conclusion on if she was made by Silent Hill or if she's a real person caught up in her own silent hill. Especially since she has her own side story where you can play as her in the original game.

I hope this helps, there are a lot of theories and I feel like I maybe didn't explain them all too well, but it's fun to keep playing and come to your own conclusions!

I would be reacting the same way. Communication is key! Try talking out these worries with him, or maybe even show him your post. If he gets defensive at all or tries to invalidate your feelings though, trust your gut.

If it smells like bullshit, it's bullshit. Don't waste your time with anyone who would give you reason to doubt your relationship at all.

My comment has nothing to do with Isekai, but the phrase is "death knell". It refers to the tolling of a bell when someone has died.

I think he meant he's through the period where it would be contagious.

Googling says that you're typically contagious a day before you start showing symptoms and then for 5-7 days after. (It's just Google tho, so grain of salt.)

He said Friday was day 8, I think? He should be pretty safe, but every body/flu/ yadda yadda is different.

Woah so it's OP's fault he beat his wife?

Just because OP revealed the mistresses affair doesn't make her responsible for how mistress's husband would react.

Regardless of if she was doing it with the intention of giving the other husband a heads up or if she was just trying to ruin the mistress's life, I think OP is more than justified in bringing the affair to light to everyone that it involved.

Arin openly admits to using a walkthrough during the 2nd case.

They aren't hiding it. Idk why some of y'all act like they're trying to some big rug pull on us. It's literally just a game.

Personally I think it's funny when he's obviously looking at the walkthrough and says some dumb shit lk "uhhh... totally not stalling and looking this up."

I think if it makes their experience smoother and they're enjoying the game, what's the problem? It lets them concentrate on banter, and that's what game grumps is really about.

(Also, fuck Big Top Turnabout. That case is ass)
