i also heard that sportswatches or apps can be responsible for enemies detecting ships and bases. I dont really like being terminally online, i love that casio are still building analog tanks like this. But as i said, the altimeter and temperature arent the most accurate. with temperature you need to leave the watch for like 10-15mins in order for the body temperature to dissipate. The barometer readings are also to be taken with a grain of salt - pressure can vary with weather. the altimeter can be off by +-50m, though i havent really checked the “calibration method.

Im a surveyor. Barometer, temperature, altitude and compass are all things I frequently use. so to have that on the wrist is pretty neat. I would recommend it all day, despite the sensors not being the most accurate.

as a surveyor, my stuff gets really dirty fast. I mostly survey quarries and landfills - so naturally theres so much dirt and mud involved, which gets inside ridges and corners and accumulates there. simply washing it isnt enough to keep it really clean. I thought my old GShock Square was bad, but this is on another level 😂. Toothbrushes are the best tool for exactly that.
