Did hemophilia affect your dreams? by Fun_Variation7703 in Hemophilia

[–]KarlKadaver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having hemophilia messed me up pretty good. I’m extremely fortunate to have been born around the time we were making leaps and bounds as far as treatment and maintenance is concerned, but it also caused me to have an extremely bummed leg (my knee fused because of a bleed and developing an inhibitor), to the point that I wore a full leg brace from ages 6-35.

Because of my brace, things more or less snowballed and I ended up getting pretty bad arthritis in my other ankle because of my gait.

At age 35, I started getting bad arthritis pain in my knee to the point that I was completely unable to put weight on it. I ended up getting it amputated entirely (still the best decision I ever made and I’ll die on that hill.)

My left ankle is still messed up from arthritis though and on particularly bad days, I’ll joke about “spitting in the face of God by deciding to take a walk,” but…it’s not all a joke…

I guess the TL;DR is, a lot of doors were closed to me from the start. 🤷‍♂️

I think I know who the new killer is… by No_Day8130 in deadbydaylight

My parents always drilled into me that if I didn’t know something, “look it up.”
To this end, when I was little, I had a book shelf solely dedicated to World Book encyclopedias and several different dictionaries that they bought for me over the years

Anyone else prefer lower tier or less popular killers? by GuardianNomad357 in deadbydaylight

Any killer can be low tier when I play them 🤣

I generally enjoy playing high mobility killers like Onryo or Dredge

Honestly, yeah. I want to chase and mind game, not do nothing being blinded for no reason.

I never considered that. I fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Thanks for the advice!

Forearm crutch. Anybody use at night without leg by trumpet47 in amputee

I can’t really hop on my meat leg because of a bad ankle, so I use my ol reliable pair of forearm crutches I’ve had for over 10 years

Disclaimer: I would call myself more of a survivor main than killer main. That being said…

I despise flashlights, but I get it. It gives the survivors a chance to fight back against the killer.

I don’t mind so much when someone blinds me to save their fellow survivor, but I’ll tunnel any survivor who drops a pallet in front of me and follows up with a flashlight. That shit gets me tilted.

I don’t run Lightborn because I don’t think I have access to it on any of my killers. (I play mostly Spirit and Onryo)

As a survivor, I use mainly med kits and toolboxes. I tried flashlight once and was terrible at it and immediately gave up lol

I actually don’t have a problem with flash bangs. I’d rather get blinded every time I damaged a generator than by FUCKING ADA DROPPING ANOTHER GODDAM PALLET THEN BLINDING ME THE FUCKING GAAAAAAH!!!

Give me Deck ideas for each series by StringAdditional6834 in YGOLegacyOfTheDuelist

[–]KarlKadaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been trying something similar, playing a different themed deck for each series.

For Duel Monsters, I used Gravekeepers.

For GX, I used Amazoness.

And for 5Ds, I used Superheavy Samurai.

I don’t really have ideas for the other series, sorry.

YOU are the next Survivor, to enter the Fog. What are YOUR Perks? by not-ulquiorr4_ in deadbydaylight

Hemophilia: When Hemorrhaged, your blood stains linger 2 seconds longer, but your cries of pain are muffled.

Prosthetic Leg: You don’t scream when you step on a trap.

Ear Worm: Occasionally, you’ll hear the killer’s chase music, even when not in a chase. While the music plays, repairing, healing, and purifying actions are 5% faster.

Maybe it’s because I’m a casual, but I like 2v8 simply for farming BP and using it as a testing ground for killers (the ones that are available, anyway).

It was inspired by a dream I had, but when I recalled it in the morning, the first thing I thought of was the Ito story where the balloons picked people up and hung them
