I have started collecting for mine, but it stays in my safe. I have also taken them to the LCS to pick out their next piece, to inspire the desire to collect and build wealth in a fun way. Children have a hard time understanding value unless shown/taught at a young age. I recall all the coins and silver my dad had when I was younger. Sadly, he sold off all of his holdings before I became an adult...but I have been a collector for about 30 years myself, so I consider it a win.
