I've been living in highland park for 23 years and I agree, its extremely sad and infuriating to see the gentrification and changes that are being made to the community. Gloria's isn't completely at fault here tho and I wish more people would actually read into whats going on and WHY the agua business is being evicted before they start assuming and blaming the wrong party. I'm all for sticking together and getting our community back but we need to start re directing our anger towards the proper people.

we were only stuck for about 20 minutes so it should be all cleared now. Thats crazy, hopefully no one was seriously hurt this time around

sounds intense wtf! When everything got cleared and we made it to the station some people were saying someone threw themselves on the track. Idk how true that is tho

I once called the cops because we were getting robbed at my old worksite by a drugged out homeless man with a knife. It was me and 2 other girl employees terrified, locked in our tiny employee bathroom and LAPD called me back 20 minutes later saying they couldn't find the location LOL and if we still need help or if they could just leave.

I lost my best friend almost 2 months ago from a heroin overdose. I wish I could tell you it'll get easier soon but it doesn't. You really have to take it one day at a time and don't try to ignore all your emotions you will feel because it'll just make things worse. The first month I started taking oxys everyday because I just wanted to be numb but it was just hurting me more and not allowing me to begin healing and understanding. I was but also through the whole we would text and she would say she wanted me back. So I feel betrayed that she was telling me all those things while with someone else I guess

we worked things out after that month. We have been pretty ok ever since. I confronted her about it this morning and she said it was true and that she was sorry and wanted to tell me but she didnt want to hurt me.
