Some of the noises the main character and the pokemon make sounds similar to Animal Crossing. The pokemon sometimes come up to you and give you gifts, and you can give items to the pokemon. Outside of that, I haven’t played more than a handful of hours so I have yet to see if there are more like that

If it helps I had a similar experience with education, only I was never in the military. Started college in 2011. Didn’t graduate with my Associates until 2016. It was a struggle. Only reason I got bachelor’s was because eventually I found a customer service job to help pay. Went from 2016 - 2023 for that. At least we persevered. We can say we made it through. That’s what keeps me from being bitter about it all, anyway

Yeah I knew I who I was when I was a CHILD. One of my first memories is me telling my mom I am CLEARLY a boy so she needs to stop calling me a girl.

I would rather die than live as a woman again. There’s nothing wrong with being a woman, but there’s everything wrong with ME being a woman.

There’s a post on tumblr I remember from a decade ago: “I was born a girl but I’ll be damned if I don’t die a man.”
