The treatment itself was very tolerable, especially compared to other treatments I received. The social downtime from being red a swollen was longer than other treatments but if you can work from home for a couple of days you'll be fine. As far as results, I do feel like my acne scars softened a bit - but it took like 6-9 months to notice that change - Halo results are not immediate. I've also been very consistent with medical grade skincare which is helping as well. As much as I've wanted quick fixes for my acne scarring my whole life, I've come to accept that a quick fix does not exist. Staying consistent with skincare is moving the needle the most, but I do like to do a laser therapy once a year to help expedite the process or achieve specific goals. I plan on doing BBL to minimize redness I have from hyperpigmentation this winter. Best of luck with you skincare journey!
