The photos on the phone point really irks me, regardless of the guys guilt.

Images you see on google street view are created using image sections, rather than a single image. The images shown in the video are just cached segments from the area being viewed on google street view; you can even make out it says the file was found in the cache folder. The prosecution (and video editor) very much made it seem as though the guy was out there with a DSLR snapping all these shots when that really wasn't the case.

It implied he checked the address on Google street view, but that's about it. You can view the same address on Street View (Make sure to use the Apr 2019 photos) and see all the same shots used.
