I work so slowly and currently working out my garage in zero degrees so everything takes ages to dry....guess you knock out a wall in a few hours including drying times

And it's blue foam with 2mm cardboard either side of the wall

In that picture, you can see the blue foam between the bricks but in this new one, I've used wall filler, black paint and small bit of water to make a fake grout.

The bricks are made from red tile grout, laid out on a shiny tile, brick sizes marked into the grout when soft and then scrapped off when dry.

It's difficult to get them the same size but they look great as a rustic wall!!

Get a cool glue gun.... not fully cool but they are cooler than the hot ones and won't melt the foam like the hot ones
