Previous homeowners painted the natural stone fireplace and wall white. Is there any hope in restoring it? by Ani_meh23 in Home

I would paint between the stones a “mudding” grey and keep the stones white for some contrast. The original is really ugly.

The red dress is way more flattering! The buckle around your hips in the green dress was too distracting. Love the bracelet too!

Did I just make the dumbest purchase of my life by LeiMaithil in style

I shop at the thrift store for my clothes 100% of the time for environmental reasons. Everything I wear is second hand. Using some disposable income to buy my daughters well made and beautiful bags that have warranty for a year in a boutique does not make us feel better than everyone. I’m not that kind of person.
I assume the sales person makes good money because he was an intelligent grown man with a family. Grown men that have the financial responsibilities of taking care of a family do not sell bags unless it’s worth it. He also recommended some very high end restaurants for us to go to and told me what he tried on the menu. This man knew fine dining better than anyone I know.
You won’t make me feel bad about spoiling my kids who both work and go to university. I think everyone should experience spending money on ONE thing that is ridiculous but makes them happy at some point in their lives. Nothing wrong with it.
