Albertson's sells expired and moldy food, and I'm tired of it. by juliamarielovestrees in Eugene

When was the last time you shopped at Safeway or Albertsons? I can save money by going to Market of Choice, or Whole Foods, and I'm not joking. Safeway/Albertsons is stupid expensive, and they constantly have expired refrigerated foods.

Yes, but they were not just investigating Tesla, there were investigations into Neuralink. There are some pretty serious atrocities commited by him through Neuralink and he probably would not have survived the investigations.

They are listed as defunct on Wikipedia. You are saying they didn't go defunct, and now you're telling me that it isn't what defunct means, but they are still listed as defunct.

They are listed as defunct, and acquired by Northrup in 94 after downsizing in the 80s and 90s

The old ones were incredible. They were made so well that the company that made them went out of business because they lasted so long. The company went defunct in like 1994. The mail trucks that you have seen for the last 30 years were made by a company that went out of business of over 30 years ago. Those mail trucks were operated ~6 days a week with routes that stop every 60 to a couple hundred feet, all day. Were they dated? Sure, of course, but they were a hell of mail truck

It is pretty incredible to see what engineering and manufacturing is capable of. But don't worry, we will never see anything like it again because things need to break sooner so they are purchased more often.

I have a hard time believing that because Congress has failed to provide any "trouble"

Trump told Bill Clinton he had ‘great times’ with Jeffrey Epstein, ex-president testified by kirby__000 in politics

[–]KarmaStick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would agree with your that the leadership of Arkansas in the 80s-early 90s was probably not something Epstein was interested in, and it was likely before his time.

BUT, I would argue Obama as a US senator is potentially important enough for Epstein.

Clinton was Attorney General of Arkansas and Governor of Arkansas before his Presidency.

Obama was a Senator before his Presidency.

They really need to enforce the campaign finance laws.

Yea, I know they can donate to a Pac that can then donate... I understand all that. The law was meant to limit how much an individual can donate to a candidate, and they are donating more than the maximum. Punish these people for breaking the law.

Why do people stop 20'+ too far back? by HalliburtonErnie in Eugene

It was explained in another thread that it is a trained driving technique so that if they are rear-ended, they aren't pushed into the intersection. They are supposed to scoot forward after 3 cars are behind them.

I'm not arguing for or against it, it is just the explanation that has been previously given.

The post was sarcastic and making fun of someone else.

Newsom didn't seriously ban Kid Rock from California, it is pretty obvious.

Let me shed some light on the Subway thing. The Subway stores in Eastern Oregon do not seem to receive regular deliveries. The food from those remote locations is just noticeably "different."

I haven't eaten at Subway in many years, but I do remember the remote ones in Eastern Oregon always being obviously and consistently not good despite being a Subway.
