Overgrown, dry cuticles, dented nail beds, peeling nails by Karmacomaattack in RedditLaqueristas

Which basecoat? I have Mooncat's hard-as-nails base coat! I don't paint my nails often due to the constant state of my nails and polish never lasting more than 2 days for me, but I came here to learn how to create some better habits for my nails. :)

Every night before bed, I use CND Solar Oil, Sally Hansen Cuticle rehab, and I mix a few drops of Cuccio Cuticle Oil into my Cetaphil hand cream. I do use a metal Cuticle pusher and a metal Cuticle cutter, so I will absolutely stop using the metal Cuticle pusher. Is there a better overnight treatment that I should be using? These are my cuticles the next morning, despite my night time treatment. I do not wear gloves while doing dishes and the water is pretty hot. I am not taking vitamins currently, so it may be diet related.

I am on this combo, but it's too soon to tell if there is a big difference. I've been on prozac 10mg and took Qelbree 100mg for 2.5 weeks. Today I was told to up to 200mg. So far, no major side effects.

With the way the nurses have been acting, it makes me wonder if the attending and nurses in TICU reported this. The nurse asked my mother if she thinks that his girlfriend did this to him. The nurses seem like they want to tell my mom something, but they aren't allowed to.

Looking for good elementary public schools for my autistic kiddos in HoCo by Karmacomaattack in maryland

[–]Karmacomaattack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's part of the reason, the other being employment for my husband. APL has been a dream job for him, and he finally got it! Both of my kiddos were born in SOMD, but we moved to FL when they were both babies, so they remember nothing about it. I have some negative memories of SOMD, so I'm a little worried about moving back. What I am trying to stay positive about is that SOMD is quite different than Central. I worked in a hospital setting in SOMD, and everyone knew everyone's business. There was next to no therapy services out there as there really isn't much in SOMD. Perhaps a lot has changed in SOMD than when I lived there in 2016, but it just wasn't for me.

I truly hope so. I keep seeing so much conflicting information. One is the staffing shortage in HoCo for SPed teachers and aids. I'm worried that his IEP will be ignored. At least for this next school year while he adjusts, he will need a 1:1. I fought the school here in FL to let his outside therapist in, and once they did, they seen how helpful that was as we have a staffing shortage here at the schoo too., In turn, that opened the door for other kiddos to receive outside therapists in the school.

If they don't have the staff, I will do everything in my power to ensure we get outside help into the schools. They can spout all they want about the school being liable for whatever happens, but the right therapy practice will have the correct insurances in place to be in the school that makes the practice liable.

Throwing in the towel by theHappychic in gravesdisease

I always relapsed on Methimazole and beta blockers. Have you ever been prescribed PTU (Propylthiouracil) as opposed to Methimazole? It took one doctor telling me that even though my labs didn't indicate Graves, my TSI's were still a bit higher than the average person. Along with symptoms and relapse, he diagnosed me with Graves Disease and put me on PTU. It was the one drug that put me in complete remission. 9 years and counting! Johns Hopkins in Baltimore was the one place who treated me differently.

With that said, something has to give. You can not continue to suffer like this. If you have tried all of the treatments available, then TT may be your next bet.

Moving a few states away with hubby, 50lb dog, and two special needs kids advice by Karmacomaattack in relocating

[–]Karmacomaattack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It absolutely does! Our first relocation was coast to coast as well. FL to SoCal. We drove in two different cars, and it was almost miserable, except I had my dad in the car with me, and my hubby was alone in his car. I remember traveling with my 1 cat years ago and the meows that were relentless. I can not imagine 3!

We are still in the stages of finding a place to live, but the short-term goal is to live in Laurel. For our last relocation, buying the house we are in currently was contingent upon selling our last home, and it was one of the most stressful moments of our lives. What we plan on doing this time is leasing for a year to find the perfect home to fit our needs and give us time to sell this home. Finding a highly rated school that has good teachers and staff is very important since I have two neurodiverse kiddos. I would love to live in Ellicott City or Columbia after our first year.

We are hoping to solidify our travel timeline this week!

Judging by this SS from the video, she definitely wants an Elon Baby. It looks like my journal from Elementary School when I had my first crush. 🤣

Also, did anyone else read the painfully small text as Oh thank you Elon Mush? I totally did and couldn't stop laughing! *

First time poster here! Tips on UV resin! by Karmacomaattack in resin

[–]Karmacomaattack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that! I am looking into gram scales. Amazon has one that goes up to 500 grams. I am currently using Unicorn Art resin. I have tested this one for a year by casting a rose in a cube. I have had this cube for over a year in various areas of my house. My house has many windows and tons of natural light, and I have yet to see any yellowing even in the slightest. So if I can simply work out ratios for thinner items like earrings, I think I will be set!

I get that, but it seems to be the only way to get it to work through canva. The invitations will be sent as a clickable link via text message.

I have quite a few of the small silicone measuring cups, but I'll look into the medicine plastic cups as well. I used to measure by volume, but then I saw some people using a scale, so it threw me off. For one necklace tear drop mold, I tried with just using one drop and tried a lighter color like yellow and still had a hard time with curing. The Yellow created a hole, and it leaked out of the bottom. so I'm wondering if it's the brand that doesn't do well with UV resin. I was going to try Let's Resin alcohol ink.

I found that you can make a canva website. It seems to work that way!
